Quote from: "Anthony"Weird, why all at once? Did they find an extra extension cable?
Hey, why the negativity? :D This is a good thing!!! I just hope the recoil effect still works  when I am there in 15 days.

That wasn't negativity... Just makes me laugh that these have apparently been fixed all at once.

If anything saying "I just hope the recoil effect still works when I am there in 15 days" is negative. I mean, it's not like we have evidence that this effect won't last more than 14 days...

The moving elements on the Small World facade is great to hear in particular though. With the Old Mill turning and the Labyrinth given lots of attention, the land has really done well this year.

Very good news of course!

I do wish they'd repair the geysers too. They are perhaps one of the most spectacular effects of the park, yet anyone whose first visit was in the last ten years would never have seen them in action. Please repair them soon DLP! [-o<

To the right of Phantom Manor.

I don't suppose we'd see them back in action until Spring now anyway.

It's true what they say..... if youve never had something you don't miss it! The bonus of being new to the parks I suppose

Yay for the improvements. And yes, let's not forget the Labyrinth... A big sigh of relief there. And the Treehouse. A small sigh of relief there.

As for the geysers, the thing with them is that they're such a major effect — not like little twirling windmills on a facade or a pair of shifty eyes on a Cheshire cat that you would never miss unless you were a hardcore fan. With the geysers lying dormant, there's a full three minutes of awkward nothingness on every single riverboat tour. Frankly it's embarrassing.

I have photos from 2002 of them sorta working.  If you look at the park map, they are shown spurting away tho

I expect someone has already picked up on this but on my last trip (5-8 Dec) the swinging rope Pirate was missing from POTC and the gun shooting cowboy on the right from Phantom Manor was missing - so they guy on the left is firing at nobody!

Oh, and they have repaired the entrance flag on POTC after it was torn, which I thought was done to make it look more 'used'

Just found this video on Youtube which shows the smoke effect at the top of BTM's third lift working again! You can see it at about 4:19.

What a great video! Glad to see that effect back too, all of those little effects on BTM really make such a huge difference to the overall feel of the ride! It's so good to see lots of them working again :)

So, I'm heading to the resort a week today, and I was wondering if anyone knows the status of the BTM effects and the SMM2 cannon recoil? I'm taking a newbe and would love to find all the effects working!

Any ideas?
Welcome foolish mortals
