Adventureland Bazaar repaint
« Reply #107 on: July 25, 2011, 09:14:22 PM »
So Adventureland Bazaar (the entrance to Adventureland) has been repainted (I guess its first paint job since 1992?) and it looks magnificent!

Shame the other side still looks pretty bad.

Here's a before and after picture I posted on Twitter earlier:

It must have been hard to get that moss off in the middle of the night. It was worth it, though.

Is it still linked to the post BTM accident removal of moving props? I was wondering if there had been any communication from DLP about when these props will be working again? It seems that there are things all over the park out of commission.

Peter Pan's Flight is closed for refurbishment:

"Scaffolding is coming down for Fantasy Festival Stage. Two things are missing: its sign and the flag on the top..."

I hope these scribbles in the queue of Peter Pan will be repainted. Why are people doing this? It just ruins the experience for other people  :(   (Same for BTM by the way + all the rubbish on the ribbed roof). If people would just obey the simple rules of manner, life could be so much easier.

I've never understood why people would write all over lovely buildings, even the Colosseum in Rome is written all over... Why would you ruin something like that?

I think we can answer this with Albert Einstein:

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

In terms of attractions, see here: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closu ... bishments/

In Disneyland Park, they're currently working on Alice's Curious Labyrinth, the Riverboats, Nautilus lagoon, Captain Hook's Pirate Ship, Pirates of the Caribbean, the middle of Central Plaza and the gazebo on Town Square (or is that finished now?). The paving out the front of the park is also being replaced in stages.
