Here is my little update from this weeks trip

Waterfall on top of lift hill - on btm - this was working today

Rain effect in Grotto scene - on POTC - this was working today

When exactly did the rain start?

I guess you meant the rain effect where the skeleton is turning the wheel, I hadnt noticed it until this week, i thought it was a great special effect. Or is it the bit where you get physically wet as you go through the grotto ( this was working too     )

The rain in the grotto was working for us too on Tuesday (didn't notice it Sunday or Monday, though).

Great! I hope they are working when I visit this summer! I really missed the waterfall on BTM.

My goodness Kristof, that is a seroius amount of little effects that you've noticed. Between checking the effects and taking 1000's of pictures, do you ever find time to go on the rides and attractions anymore ?

 :lol:   Well I don't ride much attractions, unless I have Fast Pass, there's no long queue or I need to check effects or need photos from the inside.  :wink:

That's terrible. It's like buying Star Wars toys but keeping them in the wrapper so they become collector's items. You need a break from all this, a holiday in fact. I know a good place just outside of Paris. It's got a castle, some really cool rollercoasters, friendly Cast Members ..............  :lol:

It's surprising they haven't with this recent surge in fixing effects. It's one of the most major effects of the park, my favourite in fact. Perhaps there's a good excuse... though I find the "dangerous for birds" thing hard to believe.

Ben-J over at DCP informs us about the geysers:

Une rehab est prévue mais coutant excessivement cher pour ce que c'est (je ne décrie pas la beauté des geysers bien au contraire je suis le premier à souhaiter les revoir fonctionner mais malheureusement nous avons beaucoup trop d'autres priorités) elle risque d'être repoussée éternellement.

Putting it through a translator, I got that a refurb is planned for the geysers but it will be expensive and may be postponed indefinitely. There are other things that have priority at the moment.
