Woohoooo! We go in september, and I was a little disappointed by the opening hours, and EMH - I thought we might have to cram it all in, especially as they are only released after the balance is paid, seemed a little unfair - I am much happier now, :) :)

With Buzz being closed part or october it effects our emh, do you think another ride will be open due to buss being closed ? or will it be the usual rides minus buzz ?

I seem to recall reading once that those staying in Disney Hotels could have breakfast in the park during the Extra Magic Hours (or maybe I imagined it!!).

Is this possible?  If so, do you have to book through the hotel, or let them know you are doing it?  If not, do the hotels begin breakfast early so folks can have eaten and be in the park for 8am?

Not sure about the breakfast in the park anymore (they used to). Most of the hotels start serving breakfast at 7:00 (7:30 at the DLH). However, we found the last couple of times we stayed on site, we ended up having to push the hotels hard to get the early breakfast (the Hotel New York were pushing a 9:30 breakfast slot for us last time and I really had to push hard to get the 7am slot).

Good luck

Good Morning Fantasyland. Looks like its been pretty much phased out, although it seems that it may still be on in peak periods but it needs a phonecall to book.

Thanks for both those replies.  I didn't realise that we would be given a time slot for breakfast!!!  Do you think it's worth a phone call before we go to ask for a specific time slot or ask for it when we're checking in?  We're going next week, half term week.

It will do no good to call in advance, Disney is not that flexible anymore. It is a case of sorting it out when you check in I am afraid. The problem is, the hotels at Disney are huge, but they were designed at a time and place where not everyone did breakfast (B&B is a very European thing, breakfast is not included in the American resorts). In order to deal with the stampedes of the early years, they introduced time slots. the hotel New York and DLH were the two that did not have them, but last year they seemed to introduce them at both hotels too.
