Good news!

From June 10th to July 13th 2006, Disneyland Park will stay open until 11pm on Saturdays and 9pm on Sundays.  The park doesn't open until 10am on weekdays, but I think this is still excellent news.

Yeah, I found it last week since we're planning a visit that weekend!  Does anyone know what rides are usually open when the park is open that late?

Maybe the same ones that were open during Extra Magic Hours in April?  Hopefully Buzz will also be open though...

I'll have a look Tuesday on the bureau for the attractions that will be open. And I'll post it here so you could plan a visit ;-)
but normally Buzz would be open.

They added park hours for January 2007. Disneyland Park will open 10am to 6pm on weekdays!! :(

I suppose it might be a quiet start to the year though, if people hold off their visits till April...

Yeah, I'm so glad they finally realised Christmas and Halloween are popular enough for longer hours this year. :)

I wonder what kind of hours we'll get during the 15th?  They're supposed to be doing 2hrs of Extra Magic Hours before or after normal hours on most days, so I hope normal hours don't suffer as a result. (eg. "closing" at 6pm to allow for EMH till 8pm)

I'm dragging some first time Disney peeps to the Park next summer and am encouraging them to endure peek crowds/prices because of the long opening hours! I think we're looking at late July - can I just check with some knowledgeable person, will be the Parks be open late (mid-week then)?
Title:
Post by: maleficent_mum on March 27, 2007, 01:21:56 AM
We'll be in the resort on Saturday 31st March when the park is closing at 8.00pm  :( , presumably the park is remaining open for press/VIP's only after this time.  I'm just wondering if this is the case how do they ensure everyone else has left the park  :?:
Title:
Post by: Anthony on March 27, 2007, 01:44:56 AM
Security, I suppose.

I read somewhere that guests will be asked to leave via one of the arcades, so presumably the press will be held in another area before being "let loose".  Or it might be the other way around - I remember at the Buzz event last year the press had a small party in Discovery Arcade before being led through towards park closure.

It's a shame they get a great event and the fans/AP holders/Shareholders get nothing at all...

Well  I wonder to... because I can see how the magic hours will work in the morning. No one will be allowed in if they do not have a disney passport but at night? what happens if the extra 2 hours are at night like when I visit. The 2nd and 4th of July are magic hours at night... will they check my passport when I am going in a ride or what? Can I stay? That is what I think.
Any openingtimes known here for the first week of July? I am staying from Sunday the 1st till Friday the 6th so no Saturday for me.

I did the first night of Extra Magic Hours (and then spent 30mins of it stuck in SM:M2, but that's another story...).

You simply go to Main Street Station from 5pm onwards (till normal park closing I think), show your "Disney Hotel Easy Pass" or Dream AP and then one of the overworked Guest Flow guys will give you a nice flourescent wristband for the night, which most CMs at attraction entrances will check.

So normal people can probably still stay in the park, but not ride the attractions.  I've got the leaflet which shows which attractions and restaurants open and so on, I'll post it on DLRP Today at some point... (in a few years, the amount I've got to report...)

Park Hours are only announced 3 months in advance.  They only just announced June, so it'll be 3-4 weeks before July are released.

Currently, it's...

Morning:
 - Le Chateau
 - Les Voyages de Pinocchio
 - Le Carrousel de Lancelot
 - Peter Pan's Flight
 - Dumbo the Flying Elephant
 - Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
 - Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
 - Orbitron
 - Space Mountain: Mission 2

Evening:
 - Phantom Manor
 - Big Thunder Mountain
 - Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril
 - Pirates of the Caribbean
 - Le Chateau
 - Les Voyages de Pinocchio
 - Le Carrousel de Lancelot
 - Peter Pan's Flight
 - Dumbo the Flying Elephant
 - Mad Hatter's Tea Cups
 - Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
 - Orbitron
 - Space Mountain: Mission 2

Hope that helps. I'll post the leaflet soon, they got a really simple design to explain it, better than the trials last year.

Thank you, Baloo, that sounds good!!
Particulary in the evening there are quite a numner of rides open!

Are the restaurants in the park at the EMH days longer open, too?

Cool, thank you for posting the attractions, Baloo! Sounds great! So they are open all the time of the EMH?

F.e., when the usual opening on a September day is until 7 p.m., then the EMH are until 9 p.m. - so I can go on BTM until the park closure?!

:D I was wondering how the extra hours worked.

:) Are they still using wristbands? I'm really chuffed because there's EMH in the evening on the day we arrive, which means we get to make up the two hours we lose because we won't be getting into the Park till about Midday. :P Also, do they come in different colours? *Just curious*
Title:
Post by: disneyfanatic on June 20, 2007, 10:33:01 PM
The extra hours in the evening were great as we rode BTM 3 times in the 2 extra hours-with almost no waiting! I couldn't believe how much the park cleared out although not all rides were open. Our wristbands were green that night but I had seen purple and blue ones on other people who must not have wanted to remove their bands :? There were no morning hours while we were there- well the day we arrived but we arrived too late- couldn't get up at 4am to get there by 8am

@Disneyana: Yes, in the afternoon at 5.00 pm you get the wristband under the Railroad Station. After this time you must go to City Hall and ask for it.

Title: Opening Hours For December 2007?
Post by: CafeFantasia on August 22, 2007, 07:30:05 PM
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but when will we know the opening hours of both parks for December 2007? Is it typically 3 months before the date? If so, that would mean the opening hours will be available next month (September 2007).
Title:
Post by: Minnie_1984_BTM on August 30, 2007, 02:04:36 PM
I was just checking the EMH for 6-9th September in vain hope that they might have extended them - but no! Its really silly bcos the 6th and the 7th have no EMH at all! So the parks open at 10am and shut early. I'll be chomping at the bit if i can't go to the DLP until 10!   Though of course it makes no odds with WDS.

Does anyone else think September has curiously low numbers of EMH compared to other months?  :? Wish there was some evening EMH whilst I'm there they sound awesome!

Park Hours for November are now available via the offical site:

See -> http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendar/index.xhtml (http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendar/index.xhtml)

For the majority of the dates both parks are 'only' open from 10am - 6pm, exceptions being Fridays (7pm for DLP), Saturdays (8pm for DLP, 7pm for WDS) and Sundays (8 or 9pm for DLP, 7pm for WDS).

Enjoy!

Extra magic hours were a complete waste of time for us this week, the queues weremuch longer as there is considerably less capacity on the rides - for example BTM during the day 10 mins BTM with EMH 30 mins, buzz during the day 15 mins but with EMH 25 - 35mins. Plus all the resataurants are closed and loads of the stores closed at 7pm - which gave us the " what a waste of time " attitude we hace to EMH. During peak season we can see the benefit and in the morning too, but the evening ones were useless

How can there be a lower capacity on Buzz? It is an endless transportation system :P It has always the same capacity ;) Okay BTM proprably used less trains...

Maybe the can slow down the speed a little bit or put in some stops at Buzz Lightyears Laserblast. I know it is already very slow, but this would explain the longer waiting times.  :?

Are there any news about the Extra Magic Hours in the future?

I know that at the moment there are only Morning Extra Magic Hours. But is that Disney's 'last word' about it?
Or do they only test if it's worth it, and maybe bring back the Evening EMH one day? Or the Fantasyland Breakfast or anything?

Not sure about the far future, but the current official brochure definitely states something along the lines of "extra hours in the morning", so it'll almost certainly be like that until November.

Though they're better for us, I can understand extra evening hours are more hassle and cost for DLRP.

Really? What a shame :( Never thought that the Morning Hours could be more popular than the evening ones...
But I guess it's the families with little children who prefer the morngin EMH? But then I can't understand why they don't offer the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast anymore

Yep, looks like daily through the whole month. Except for the 31st, or do you think that's a mistake on their part? Seems weird to miss out that one single day but have EMH every day between March and May. *Sigh* DLRP... :-k

I wish they had the same choice of rides in the morning EMH as they did in the evening one, because the morning one doesn't have alot of different attractions

Hi guys

The Disney brochure i have points me towards their website to check out the Extra Hours details. I found the park opening times no problem but can see nothing about wether the park is open early or late in August and which rides might benefit from the extra hours?

Is there any links know about that have this information or am i just too early to ask about mid August his year?

probably just too early, I think its normally mornings 8-10 and rides include SM:M2, buzz, teacups, dumbo, the carosel, peter pan's flight, etc in Fantasyland. This should help ... http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/practic ... agichours/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/practical/extramagichours/%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)

Hi !

Weare going to be in DLP for a week from june 28, we'd like to use "magic hours", but when I try to see  magic hours shedule

http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/?m=200806 (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/?m=200806%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)

I see only this words:

"DLRP Magic! Calendar has now closed"

What does it mean  - magic hours unavailable ? Or it's only problem with website ?

Thanks,Nick

Thanks for your help, if I understand right, DLP and WDS will be open regularly at hours:

http://www.disneywebcontent.com/StaticF ... mation.pdf (http://www.disneywebcontent.com/StaticFiles/DLRP-UK%20&%20FR%20EDV/PDF/10practicalinformation.pdf%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)

so the magic hours will be available everyday fom 8.00 till 10.00.
It's only the problem with Dlrp magic website, thanks.

:hello:

I've just been going through some old Disney e-mail's and I came across the one received recently again (19th June) when I noticed that it said "Summertime at DLRP until August 31st 9.00am until 11.00pm."

So I didn't think about it at the time   #-o  but does this mean that the Disneyland Park opens at 9.00am and therefore EMH's will start at 7.00am :?:

I know the official site calender still says 10.00am until 23.00, but the advert time is interesting :o

Have I read this right :?  or am I just being optimistic [-o<  :?:

And you can access the park through the usual gates  :D

The morning ones are best as at that time its only people from the hotels allowed in. if you want to make the most get up and dressed and in asap then at 10 when the crowds come in go back to the hotel for breakfast.

Hi ColdSun,

EMH is still happening, every morning until the end of October, then certain mornings in November, then I believe it goes back to every morning in December. Its expected to be running until at least the end of the 15 anniversary celebrations (which ends March 2009).

I've picked up in someones review that EMH only had a couple of smallish rides open... is that usual? I'd (stupidly) assumed the majority of the park would be open? If not, it seems like a waste to get down there 2 hours earlier for only a ride or two.

And now I've got a feeling that last summer I did go in for EMH one morning and there wasn't much open, but really can't remember
Title: Re: Park Hours & Extra Magic Hours

It's true, for EMH there are only usually a few attractions open - usually Dumbo, Carousel, Peter Pan, maybe one other FL dark ride, Tea Cups, Buzz, Orbitron and Space Mountain.

But it puts you in prime position for other attractions as they open too.

(last year where they had PM EMH - Big Thunder, PM, Indy, and Pirates were also open, but not anymore)

I am sure we will see other versions of EMH after this year. After all they used to have them in the 1st 5 years of the resort (where all the e tickets were open), then they started the stupid Fantasyland Breakfasts with EMH for Dream Holders.

I am sure we will see some form of EMH working in the future too.

If you have small children, EMH is great, as most of the Fantasyland rides are open. But if you don't tend to spend much time in Fantasyland anyway, EMH will probably not appeal (as you can get fastpass for Buzz for definite, and SM2 I believe).

I always go for Buzz first thing with the EMH, and try to ride it 3 or 4 times before moving on to something else... It's wonderful being able to do it with no queues, even with a fastpass you cannot get in so quickly!

It's always worth getting on Dumbo and Peter Pan in fantasyland first thing using the Extra Magic Hours as their queue lines are always the worst in FL throughout the day and Peter Pans Fast Pass always seems to be closed more than it's open  :?

Yes, confirmed for every morning from now until the end of July 2009... and sure to be August and the rest of the year too, but they've only published up to July for now: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/extra-magic-hours/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/extra-magic-hours/)

The morning hours are indeed easier to manage and probably cheaper too, since they don't need to open as many attractions for the extra 2 hours.

Yes the EMH will be from 8am-10am! And normal park opening will be 10am.

A question
Can I use EMH if I have a Fantasy AP and are staying at the Explorers hotel??

No I'm afraid not, you need to be either staying at a Disney onsite hotel (or the L'Elysee at Val d'Europe) or have a Dream annual pass, to be able to go into the park for EMH.

You can upgrade your Fantasy pass to a Dream at the AP office in the park, and pay the difference (ie 50 euros) to get a Dream Pass and access to EMH that way?

Hi, I have not been on the forum since November 09 and my visit is not far away - mid- March 2010.

I hope this is the appropriate section. Planning our visit I would like to know what the Park Hours are for March 10?

Where can i find the Park information booklet that you follow at the resort so i can plan? Is it available online for March 2010?

Is it best to check-in at the station (Eurostar) on arrival or is easier just to walk to Disney Hotel New York to save time. I have heard the check in at the station can be busy any tips?

What resturants have the best/reasonable priced menus for a family of five?

What ride closures would i expect in March 2010?

Weather for mid-March typically (not taking 'global warming' into account)!

Regards

@dovedale: Think you can find som info at the link //http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guidebook/your-visit/ and //http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendar/index.xhtml
If I understand you correct about the booklet (Shows And Parades) you can find that booklet at the last link.
It is updated about once a week.

Enjoy your stay!

Hi All.

Quick Questions. Are EMHs also avalible after the park's closed and where do we go to pick them up? Or do we automaticaly have them if we're in Disney Hotels. We're staying in Santa Fe on May 4th-May 7th.
Title: Re: Park Hours & Extra Magic Hours

EMH is only avalible in the morning I'm afraid.

Right. Okay. So do we have passes for that automaticaly with Disney Hotels? And am I right in thinking Fantasyland and Discoveryland (apart from Main St) are the only lands open during these times? I remember doing the rope drop one morning when I went several years ago and rushing towards Space Mountain! Awesome times!

Can i benefit from the Extra magic Hours with the Shareholderscard?
I am at Disneyland on March 2. are the EMH only at Disneyland Park or at the Studios too?

Thanks a lot!!!! And sorry for my bad English

Post by: never2old on February 10, 2010, 12:26:50 PM
Sorry Spikey, but you can't use the EMH just with the shareholders card, you need to stay in one of the Disney hotels for that (or have a dream annual pass I believe)

You can still for from 9:00 am to the Salon Mickey and from there enter the park before 10:00, but you won't be allowed into Discoveryland or Fantasyland until the park opens.

And the EMH are only at Disneyland Park!

Hello everybody!
Just a short question, I looked up the park hours for my next visit (29.3 - 31.3) and I was so excited that Dlrpmagic is saying Disneypark is opened till 22:00, but the oficial Disneypage tells me its only open until 20:00... so which one is the right? Is the oficial page just not updated, or has DLRPmagic made a mistake? I´m really sad, because I was looking forward to the looong hours!
Thank you =)

I have a question...

If Disneyland Park opens at 10:00am, and there aren't any Extra Magic Hours on that day, what time can guests actually enter the park? I have a feeling you can enter Main Street, U.S.A. at 9:30am, but you're roped off from going beyond Central Plaza until 10:00am. Is that right?

Woohoooo! We go in september, and I was a little disappointed by the opening hours, and EMH - I thought we might have to cram it all in, especially as they are only released after the balance is paid, seemed a little unfair - I am much happier now, :) :)

I seem to recall reading once that those staying in Disney Hotels could have breakfast in the park during the Extra Magic Hours (or maybe I imagined it!!).

Is this possible?  If so, do you have to book through the hotel, or let them know you are doing it?  If not, do the hotels begin breakfast early so folks can have eaten and be in the park for 8am?
Title: Re: Park hours and Extra Magic Hours
Post by: davewasbaloo on February 14, 2011, 02:40:45 PM
Not sure about the breakfast in the park anymore (they used to). Most of the hotels start serving breakfast at 7:00 (7:30 at the DLH). However, we found the last couple of times we stayed on site, we ended up having to push the hotels hard to get the early breakfast (the Hotel New York were pushing a 9:30 breakfast slot for us last time and I really had to push hard to get the 7am slot).

Good luck

Good Morning Fantasyland. Looks like its been pretty much phased out, although it seems that it may still be on in peak periods but it needs a phonecall to book.

Thanks for both those replies.  I didn't realise that we would be given a time slot for breakfast!!!  Do you think it's worth a phone call before we go to ask for a specific time slot or ask for it when we're checking in?  We're going next week, half term week.
Title: Re: Park hours and Extra Magic Hours
Post by: davewasbaloo on February 14, 2011, 03:10:48 PM
It will do no good to call in advance, Disney is not that flexible anymore. It is a case of sorting it out when you check in I am afraid. The problem is, the hotels at Disney are huge, but they were designed at a time and place where not everyone did breakfast (B&B is a very European thing, breakfast is not included in the American resorts). In order to deal with the stampedes of the early years, they introduced time slots. the hotel New York and DLH were the two that did not have them, but last year they seemed to introduce them at both hotels too.

That time of year, DLP has usually been open 10-23:00 with fireworks at 23:00. (EMH runs 8-10). WDSP usually had a 10-19:00 (sometimes 21:00). schedule.

that's the "price" you pay when going when low crowds are expected - as soon as high season is over, they cut down the opening times, the shows etc. but therefore you will be able to enjoy the park when it's more quiet.

Will be interesting to see it though as it will be valid till June 2012 so 'should' contain some 20th Anniversary details!! :D

Hi everybody and greetings from Berlin/Germany.

We´re going to visit Disneyland June 1st to 4th (for the very first time, I´m really excited!).
I´ve got a question concerning the opening hours: The schedule says that the Park is open on the weekend until 22:00. Does that mean that all the attractions and rides are open during the whole time?
(Sorry for that presumable silly question, but here in Germany we´re not used to such long opening hours, was at the Heide Park last week and they closed at 17:00!!)

Thanks in advance...

But will this be the same for the christmas season ?

or because it is actually in the heart of the xmas period will there be some late night openings in the week?

would appreciate it if anyone that went similar dates last year could let me know what opening hours were like for them or anyone who knows what december hours are usually like

Last year there were only late openings at the weekends in December and once the school holidays started. But there were EMH every morning. On the plus side, it shouldn't be all that busy, so you should still get everything in, providing the weather cooperates!

We are staying at the Sanat Fe hotel, will we be able to use the magic hours on both days or just our second day? Also will we be allowed to park our car free at the hotel?

I just remembered that years ago there was the Good Morning Fantasyland: you did the breakfast into the Park, and then you did the attractions when the park opened at 10 am. Now, with the Extra Magic Hours, this meal is no more available? You must do the breakfast at your hotel and then go to the gates of Disneyland Park at 8 am? You can't be at the gates later (8.30-9 am for example) ?

you can go to the gates of the park whenever you like if you're staying onsite, ie if you go at 9am you'll get an hour of EMH from 9am to 10am.

Yes, you can still ask for breakfast in the park, its still available, and its still along the lines of the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast. You can't book this in advance, you ask when you check in at your hotel. The earliest EMH breakfast is, I believe 8.15am, latest slot is around 9.30am I think (we usually ask for 9.15, gives us the first and earliest hour of EMH for the rides from 8am, then breakfast without leaving the park, before heading to the Studios/favourite ropedrop area).

Thanks for letting us know :) I am going from the 18th till 21st so our dates aren't up yet but as it is open till 11 everyday in June I am pretty sure it will close at 11 then too :) I have never seen the park at true night time before let alone go on the rides during the dark as whenever I have been to the park it closes at 9 so not truly dark. But anyway, wool for the late closing :)

Fantasy passes also have extra magic hours starting from April. I was surprised to find it out, as I was sure that only Dream pass holders were allowed EMH. But we have used them twice with our Fantasy passes and it was mentioned also at the Annual Pass Office in Discoveryland.

We used our fantasy passes for the extra magical houres on the 19th April. But the castmember at the entrance would'nt let us in. He kept asking for our hotel easy passes. I tryed to explain the new rules to him like 4 times and ask him to aks his boss. He refused that but asked a other castmember instead. Who also didn't know about the change. After 10 minuts a queue started to form behind us. And he let us go in the park, because we refused to go away.

We went to city hall later that day and explain the situation. They apologized to us and told us that the problem would be solved tomorow. And luckley we could go in the park without any problems the next day at 8 O'clock

I understand it was a very new rule. But I don't understand why nobody by the gates that morning seems to know about it?

Have somebody faced the same problem, or is it solved becouse our 'complaint' ?

sorry for my bad english, I try very hard but I just can't get my grammer right  :(

On the current schedule online it says that the Dreams show is on at closing time for the park which when we go in June is 11.00 pm. Does this mean the show is literally on at 11 or 20/30 minutes before closing and then everyone is expected to leave the park straight away afterwards?
Not sure if my daughter who will be almost 5 when we go will stay up that late without getting grumpy!!

It means the show begins at 11pm, right on closing time.

In the past regular fireworks shows have been scheduled to begin as late as 11.15pm in summer, so it is fairly normal as far as nighttime entertainment goes, even if it's not great for younger kids.

Hi I woudl be grateful if some kind soul woudl be able to help me, we bought annual fantasy passes in Sept 2011 and from the annual pass website (http://www.disneylandparis.fr/pa (http://www.disneylandparis.fr/pa%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)) it suggests that Fanasty Pass 20 year anniversery are entitled to access the parks in the magical hours so I am not sure if this means that we can take advantage of this or not. If we can this will make a difference to where we stay as I think that the Disney hotels have now gone beyound our price bracket, if we can take advantage of this we will stay at Dream Castle o similar as they are close to the park and the early start is easier if we are not we will get a budegt hotel further away.

be very graetful for the help

yes, your fantasy pass allows you EMH now. I'm in the same situation, bought our fantasy passes in November last year. As of 16th April, anyone with a current fantasy pass, no matter when you bought it, gets EMH, even if staying offsite

it changes every day, best thing to do is look on the information board near Hollywood Boulevard (ahead and just to your left as you come out of the Studio One building). This board shows the times and languages of all the Studio shows.

Surely it too early to know when the park is open and when it closed on March 21 to March 25 2013.

But I bet it similar to the opening and closing hours of March 2012.

it might be different in March 2013 because they weren't showing Dreams in March 2012. Dreams is usually shows in full dark, so it will depend what time the sun sets in March when the main park will close in March 2013.

Restaurants in the park, if they're open late, will usually accept people up to 1 hour before park closure.

No problem in the Disney Village and hotels though, they're open until much later, until at least 10 or 11.

In the winter months the parade tends to be earlier, beetween 4 and 5pm. So it can be done at daylight. (mostly ;) ). So you should be fine with your reservation.

Hiya all,

We are going on our first visit to dlp May 25th-29th and I'm trying to work out what times I should make evening meal reservations for.  I'm trying to book tables for times between the afternoon parade and the closing show.

Was thinking that about 6.45-7pm would be best, but will that be too early?  What time is the parade usually on during May? Does anyone know how long the parade is on for? What time does the park usually close at the end of May?

Sorry for all the questions. Us newbies can have so many questions lol.

TIA :) xx

Hi Livvipivvi
Last year the park was closing at either 10.30pm or 11pm by the middle end of may so this year will be the same (it needs to be dark for them to be able to show dreams). The parade should be on at 7.pm and lasts about 15 or 20 mins. If you watch from near the exit to the park you can make a quick getaway if you are planning on eating in the Village. Between the parade and Dreams is a mega busy time to eat so definatley book in advance

Have a great trip!

Thats fab  :) .  Thank you for your help Amanda.  We are sure that we want to eat in Cafe Mickeys and Inventions for 2 of our evening meals and I've got Buffalo Bill tickets for 1 night. Its just our 4th night to decide on now  :) . We want either Walt's or somewhere buffet type because of our fussy 6 year old and somewhere where we get good value for our half board plus meal vouchers. Hmmm decisions, decisions  ::) .  Its such a juggle to fit eating in with all the fab things we want to do lol.

The parade time hasn't been announced yet; my guess would be 16:00.

We are looking at booking to go to DLP for May half term (30th May - 3rd June) I have seen that Swing into Spring finishes on 29th May but Frozen Summer doesn't start until 4th June. Just wondered if anyone knows what happens between seasons? We went in April last year and we all loved the parades and performances throughout the day. I presume there will still be meet and greet with the characters and the main Disney Dreams show and Disney Magic on Parade? But any ideas on the rest?

EXTRA MAGIC HOURS - worth the extra money?   ::)

Hi, we are a family of six booked for next summer and at the minute I am pricing APs as they work out the cheaper option for our bunch.
After including the 20% discount for large family and then working in the 20% off Buffalo Bills with the Fantasy pass, the Classic passes are still working out around £125 cheaper. According to the french website there are no block out days in July next year, so it looks like the only advantage of the Fantasy pass will be the extra magic hours.

What do you get with extra magic hours  --  Is it really worth a price difference of £125?

I suppose it depends on whether you intend to visit the parks straightaway as classic/francillien cannot be used for two days after purchase. Im not sure if you can buy that option in advance from the uk and therefore skip that wait?

Hello. Can I ask what may seem an obvious question. But if the closing time for the park shows at 8pm, does that mean the Disney Dreams (or equivalent) show starts at 8pm?
Thank you.

It's unconfirmed, but I would guess it'll stay in its current time: 5:30pm
