I can't wait to see the Hollywood Tower Hotel sign from outside the gates. Think about it; when people will leave Disneyland Park after closure, they can see WDS... they will see the nicely lit Frontlot, Earful Tower and the flickering HTH sign on top of the spooky Tower looming in the background. Awesome...

Yeah, several letters. I remember this particlaur W to flicker.  

Edit; I found a video about the building and opening of the Californian Tower. You can clearly see the flickering...

I found another cool video. Its from the Tower of Terror in California last October. It seems they made an adjusted lighting effect for the Halloween season.

Wow, nice video!  It's good to see the lighting can all be configured and changed like that quite easily.  Seeing what DLRP have done in the past like that (ice palace, candles, phantom manor wedding, 15th launch projections) gives me great hope for them using ToT well.

I remember being sat outside Annette's earlier this week looking across to the Tower and imagining how amazing it'll be when it's finished and fully lit.  I think, at that moment, we'll finally have a real companion to DLP with WDS.

Not just the lighting was amazing during halloween at DCA, I've also seen reports and photos from the Hollywood Tower Hotel characters entertaining guests at the queue area and inside the actual lobby and library.  Imagine how cool it would be to have the Cinéfolies crew come up with some great entertainment at the Tower and the boulevard.

The Hotel is Progressing Fast. Its getting more darker and is looking more older.



The bottom dome is progressing as you can see.




Where the Future " The Hollywood Tower Hotel " Sign will be on the metal bars sticking out.


And last but not least, the Frame work from the right side of the tower which shapes the broken walls around the doors which will open when you decend on the ride.

Can anybody clarify this?

2 things to clarify if I understand everything correctely:
1. The big illuminated "Hollywood Tower Hotel" advertising will be installed in July.
2. The official soft-opening phase will begin on the 22nd of December 2007.

2. The official soft-opening phase will begin on the 22nd of December 2007.

I think that they are the doors that open but i'm not too sure, they look very much like it and there i think in the same place the doors are on the California tower.
