The one at Disney-MGM is 199ft, whilst the DCA and WDS versions are 183ft.  Like Raptor said though, the forced perspective "adds" a lot to the height.  The DCA/WDS version also looks smaller because the showbuilding is at the front, so there's less of a large vertical wall, whilst at MGM it's hidden at the back making the front of the tower look much bigger.  There's also a long street in front of the MGM version, making it look higher still.

Definitely.  When I was in WDS in April, having the Tower there (even in unfinished form) made such a difference to the park.  It adds a lot of "height" to the place and gives you a brilliant landmark you can see from almost anywhere.  It brings all the buildings together with one tall, central landmark and the effect it'll have on the park when it's finished will be unbelievable.  You really have to see it for yourself to realise what a positive impact it makes already.  It's also a massive landmark for the resort - seeing it all the way from Holiday Inn was really impressive - it's truly going to be landmark attraction on the scale of Space Mountain.  Perhaps more so, IMO!  :)

got back from dlp yesterday and thought u might like to see these!



If we don\'t have the key, we can\'t open whatever it is we don\'t have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever need be unlocked, which we don\'t have, without first having found the key what unlocks it?

Thanks for the photos, Jon!

It's exciting to see the front of the building going up now, once that's done we'll be able to really see how the Tower fits into the park and get a good idea of how tall and pretty it'll look!  :D

cool they are putting the roof on!! does that mean the crane will be dismantled soon and scaffolding put up?

One more thing I'd like to point out.  The Tower looks so much bigger thanks to the building in front.  8)
