the guy in the vid is the chief of Imagineering? I can't understand what the ambassador is saying due to the music over her voice.

Haha!  I thought they looked too good to have been added on like those Mickey/Minnie plushes on the RNRC photos!

DLP.info said he's the "President of Attractions", though you're right that the music is too loud to hear her - looks like they didn't quite get their timing right there.  She's also quite hard to understand without loud music anyway!

Part two of Alain Littaye's Space Mountain article is now online, featuring a look at mission 2 with a review and walk-through of the attraction.

I've only read the first paragraph, but he seems to like it... A LOT!  :D  :D

Yes! Mission Two is good... it's very good... It's even more than just that, as we probably now have here in Paris the best Space Mountain version in the world! No kidding here, I'm serious. The Imagineers have done a wonderful re-theming...

And, because I'm strange, this photo has got me drooling...

No, it's nothing to do with the two women there... those press information packs!!!   They look beautiful and such high quality!  DLRP have such a talent for these excellent press info packs... I want them sooo much!  [/stupid babbling by baloo]

Karl Holz has nothing to do with Imagineering. He's someone coming from the united states but he is really important in euro disney sca. He's (I think) financial director at least as important as Lacroix but much more severe and strict!!!! lol

it was a bit like this actually! lol (i was part of the ceremony on the right)
this ceremony was really horrible!
The ambassador (I hate her, she's so stupid!) didn't have anything to say and we could see that she had learn her speech by heart. And what about her English??? And her voice is so annoying!!!!!!!! I can't understand why she's been chosen! lol (my boyfriend was part of the competition and was finalist with her)
Karl Holz really is not the good person to invite to open an attraction!!! He looked bored and not interested about what he said...
AND IT WAS SOOOOO COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, i have been to DLRP from the 10th till the 13th of April and offcourse i tried SM:2!!

I have done the ride twice during my last visit. I must say, I like Mission 2 as much as i like the First one.

The effects are nice to see and i love the Super Nova and the part of the ride after that. They created a very good atmosphere.

Also the Blast Off has improved in my opinion. I like it better to get launched from the bottem. The only thing i regretted was the fact you get slowed down at the top of the lift hill, which decreases the effect of getting launched.

But in general, i like the ride.

And now i think of it, i forgot to buy the Action picture, so i will have to do that the next trip. BUT i DO have the SM: Mission 2 pin. And i am very happy with it :)

But nevertheless, Allthough Mission 2 is a great ride to do, i still miss the old one. Because that one also had such an good atmosphere. I think its still a pity its gone. And some people thought SM De la terre de La Lune still excisted. They thought Disney builded a complete new building etcetera for Mission 2. Disappointed they were in the beginning, but they also liked Mission 2.

Yeah a friend of Flor asked him: where are they building that new space mountain?  They must have quite a lot of space left to build such a big building.

Haha yeah amazing actually I can't believe people don't get after you have said to them they are installing new effects that they are not building a new ride, that people continue to ask me wow that was quick construction how many years have they been working on that  , well they are just normal coaster fans and not Disney fans thankfully.

I feel really sorry for those poor info CMs in the park who have to answer guests' questions and tell them that SM:M2 is only a new version of the old ride... They're going to be getting some grief this year!  :?

On a happier note, it's strange that I said to raptor last night how I missed those banners in the station, because look here:
