Disney's Halloween Festival 2011

It's kind of odd that they're putting the Christmas decorations up during the Halloween season. Do they normally do that?

Not that unusual. I have been over halloween for the past 4 years now.
The first "decorations" to go up are in the Hotel New York, their christmas tree in the lobby usually goes up around the 25th October

I guess the halloween spirit is lost even more when the shops are overtaken by christmas decorations

The ice rink is there all the time now they put a synthetic one down last year (i think)....

Yup the synthetic ice rink is there now (at least it was last week!!! lol)
Not always open though, check beforehand!

Are you sure it was a synthetic ice rink? Last summer, it was being used for these inflatable balls that kids could get in and roll around in.

Although our trip was ruined by incompetent staff and many many discriminative people I have to say MNSSHP was lovely and I got my coloured smoke and had many fun times running in and out of it . Didn't see a reworked hub show though it seemed the same as last year but only on once instead of twice however it was amazing as usual. I did enjoy it just wish I didn't have to write a mammoth complaint to Disney now.

I think saying everything would put it lightly I've never had a very bad experience with Disney, Eurostar god yeh all the time but Disney no never. I am honestly shocked at how rude and disgusting the staff members were towards me and especially my disabled son. I've put in a massive complaint so will have to see if they bother to reply. To make matters worse we stayed at DLH which is normally amazing and we couldn't even get a hot drink at breakfast!!
