I actually quite like these games. It would have been better without the toons, but at least they're fairly subtle. I agree with Ant - something like this for Disney Village would be awesome!

The sun on Cali Screamin' is taking shape now:

I've read a lot of critisism about the Paradise Pier improvements, so far.

I dont know how these people can complain, the park is already vastly improved and construction is nowhere near over.

Have you seen the scale of World of Colour? Its unbelievable. Its going to be the best Disney night-time show yet.
It should be built on Lake Disney.  :wink:

they don´t moan about the whole paradise pier, if you look at the facades of the new games of the boardwalk and toystory mania it looks really good, and the concept art of the wheel and the shop opposide the wheel wont get the victorian stile anymore. i can understand why they moan about that. but what disney did with the wheel is great too just the quee is the old ugly thing.

yeah i cant wait to see the first video of the world of color show, its really a huge stage and i think the show will be stunning. the mist screens will 100ft tall and almost 400ft wide if have it correctly in mind.
i think lake disney is the wrong place for this show, we need it in the studios that this little park have some night entertainment too...  :D

Love it! :P Such an improvement to the original wheel in my opinion. I like how they've even taken the classic character shorts look for it, rather than plastering it with Buzz lightyear :P

Here are a few more shots of the wheel;

And for DCA fans;

I only thought Lake Disney would be good for the show due to the scale of it and it would add some nightlife back to the village.
I'd rather see Fantasmic! in the studios.

More than enough (according to Google Earth). With a removal of panaramagique and replacing that area with a viewing point, the show would fit perfectly onto the lake.

Only problem would be the lack of Mickey's Fun-Wheel, which I think will have a big part in the show. After all, they did just put all those amazing LEDs onto the wheel.

or maybe they just have to expand the lake into the are for a future hotel, i don´t think to remove the panoramamagiqque after just (3 years?) would be cool...

yeah i think the fun wheel is a big part of the show, but we don´t know!

A new construction update showing off the World of Color lagoon area has been posted to Westcoaster this week. Boy that platform out there is getting incredibly crowded with stuff. They also had one last look at at the big Dinosaur figure which is now coming down, with what's left covered by a tarp.

The Blue Sky Cellar re-opens with a brand new exhibit today...

Hopefully we'll get to see the new concepts later today/tomorrow?

Some reports are saying this new structure is for the Red Car Trolleys:

Seriously, I can't believe WDI are actually finally getting to build those. Disney + Trams? It's too much.

And of course, the Orange Stinger has gone to Yesterland...

It's only recently that I realised how truly, truly hideous this thing is/was.
