I didn't know where to post this and didnt want to make a new thread altogether.

Just a quick question, has anyone purchased a tradables grab-bag from ebay? The ones that you can get in sets of 12/20/50 ect. I was thinking of getting one to keep as traders but at the bottom it said the pins are in no way perfect condition. So I was just wondering if anyone has baught one of these bags? Just curious.

hey I have bought quite a lot of pins on ebay the past week or so but I haven't bought these, could you perhaps post a link so I can see what you mean maybe? :)

I haven't personally bought one, but from the looks of the announcement I think it's just the seller covering himself. Basically, he's saying they're not mint from the box or anything, they have actually been handled by real people and might be a little tarnished.

I think Agent Lex is right they are just covering themselves because sometimes people will leave negitive feedback if they recieve a pin that isnt perfect and they havent been told this may be the case in advance...however i am sure the pins are fine. I have considered buying a 'lot' like this before and maybe will in the near future:)

I am the same there is only about 3 of my pins I am willing to swap so i need some traders too :D

Just a heads up here guys but these so called 'grab bags', are usually an easy way for a seller to rid themself of forgeries, mixed in with some real ones. I'm not saying they definately are but I'd ask for a high red photo to check first and cross compare a sample with http://www.dizpins.com which has a guide to suspected forgeries.
