Yes it's true.  December 22 is the opening date for park guests.  The pin event in the evening does include a meal in Studio 1 and the possibility to ride ToT.

Is that the official opening or the soft opening?

As I said, December 22 is the opening date for park guests.  I do not know the soft opening dates, but they should be around the Screamscape date.

The official opening (for the press etc) is in March 2008.

If the official opening is in March, does that mean the beginning of March? Or middle? Or end? As I'm going in March next year, and I would like to work my trip dates around the opening.
