Quote from: "Elaine"could you not just buy your Francillien pass on 3rd at the ticket booths/guest services at the entrance to the park, instead of buying a one-day ticket and then having to exchange it for a Francillien pass later that day?

But yes, your plan would also work.

Elaine

Unfortunately not, since the 3rd is blocked out for the Francillien.

I could be wrong but I think it is possible to buy an AP even if it is a blockout day... However I could be wrong but I do think I remember reading this simewhere

That would be so awesome. Can anyone confirm this?

This is a quote from January 2009....

Quote from: "Piratesfan"
Quote from: "Elaine"Hi,

For the Francillien to work, you need to be able to activate it (ie use it as a park ticket). As the 1st Jan is a blackout day, you won't be able to activate it, and so you wouldn't be able to use it on the 1st. Same with the 2nd, as that is also a blackout day for Francillien. So, the first day you'd be able to activate a Francillien pass would be the 3rd (when you can use it as a park ticket all that day), and then you couldn't use it on the 4th or 5th.

The next pass up, the Fantasy, has no blackout days in January, and can be used as soon as its bought.

Elaine

I just wanted to let you know that this info wasn't correct. When we arrived at DLRP on the 1st of January we were able to go into the park and buy the anual passport francillien (for 4 people). We were able to stay for that day, but couldn't go in for the following 2 days. So it's always like that, you can BUY your AP even on a restricted date - but only if you don't have one already - and stay in the park that day!

Thanks for all the help Laura.

I just googled "Passport Francillien", and it took me to the official french site. Under the list of restricted days for the Franillien there was the following:

"Ces jours de restriction ne s'appliquent pas le jour de l'achat de votre Passeport Annuel.
Les enfants de moins de 12 ans doivent être accompagnés par un adulte. En cas d'évènements ou de forte affluence, nous nous réservons le droit de limiter ou de refuser l'accès aux Parcs Disney® ou aux attractions."

It Basically says that the blockout date doesn't apply for the day you purchase your passport, though they have the right to limit or refuse access to the parks or attractions.

However, upon clicking on "tickets" in the top menu and navigating to the annual passports section, only the fantasy and dream passes are availible!!! Could they be stopping the Francillien?!?!?!?!?!?!

I've been searching a bit more. It seems that the Francillien IS still availible, but it's only advertised on the "Ille De France" official website.

I found the following forum topic at Disney Central Plaza: //http://disneycentralplaza.englishboard.net/t8701-tout-savoir-sur-les-passeports-annuels-pour-disneyland-paris-en-page-1, which has a list of &) FAQ's about the passports! Yes, &)! Only problem: it's in French. I will read it when I have some time and see if theres anything of interest.

The Francilien is still available but its not available to purchase online. From reading the bit on the french website it confirms what I said!

I love it when plans work out!
Quote4) I like to buy a PA Classic Fantasy Francilien or the day of my visit but it will be a day of restriction. This Will valid?
Yes, the annual passport is valid on the day of its establishment, even if it is a day of restriction.
Non contractual restrictions take effect from the day after the final establishment of the PA.
Please note, two days after the date of establishment (or local purchase) of a PA Francilien or Classic final days of restriction are contractual , even when staying in a Disney Hotel!

Me too! Especially if it has to do with my enjoyment of the parks!

Seems the Franillien ticket has gone up to 119 Euros!

Quote from: "xiaochun3612"Hello - Has anyone bought the annual pass online before you go? I think you can just do it on the French site.

Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks

This is my question well !  And how big problem is to buy AP right in Disneyland Park gate? Thank you!

its no problem at all to buy your annual pass at the park gates when you arrive at DLP - I've done it twice now, first time I got a temporary pass from Guest Services, which I took to the Annual Pass office in the main park later that day, when it was exchanged for a permanent annual pass. The whole process took no longer than about 30 minutes in total.

We renewed annual passes at Bureau Donald near the main entrance to the park also, this took all of 5 minutes.

Thank you Elaine! Maybe it is better to buy AP at the park gates then online, isnt it?

can i sponzoring second person from my family (same surname) or only foreign person?  And 3x sponzoring must be on one time or can i later add?

you can sponsor anyone you like, but you have to be an activated annual pass holder for at least one month before you can start sponsoring anyone else's annual pass purchase. you can sponsor up to 3 new annual pass purchases, and they don't have to be at the same time. remember though that you as the sponsor have to be with the person buying the new annual pass when they buy it at DLP, to get the sponsor discount and for you to get your stamp on your sponsor form.
