Hi there,

I am planning on going to DLP in July for two days. I live in London, but would be visiting my dad who lives in Paris, so would probably go again in the next year if I had an annual pass. I was looking at the French website and it seems that you can get the AP delivered. As my dad lives in Paris, I would have a French delivery address, but what I was wondering is if I get the AP delivered to him, when would the two day restrictions on the Francillien kick in? If I bought it at the gates, it says you can't use it the two days after that, but if I were to get it delivered, would it be the first two days after I get it delivered or the first two days after my first visit?

The reason I am asking is that I want to visit both parks, so my other option would be the two different one day passes, but I would need a one-day-one park one and a one-day-two-park one, as I think that you don't necessarily need a full day in Walt Disney Studios, so would probably go back to the other park once we're done. So at the dates I'm looking at, that would cost me 90 Euros, whereas for an additional 30 Euros I could get the annual pass. But I would need to go on two consecutive days or at least twice in 3 days as I'm only there for 3 days so the annual pass would only work if I could get it delivered and the restrictions are from then and not from when I first visit.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Sabrina

It doesn't matter when you buy your AP, its the first day you use it as a park entry ticket which counts as day one.

The Isle De France official website says the 'Classic' Passport is availible to anyone. Is this true?

Awesome! I suppose they did that to have an AP in the same price category as the Francillien, which is now more expensive.

Thanks once again Elaine!

i would suggest those that have a temp pass. exchange it when u r about the leave the park.the office is close late . i did this with a friend of mine. think park closed at 9 and we were there 840...we were the only one there..

Quote from: "Elaine"its no problem at all to buy your annual pass at the park gates when you arrive at DLP - I've done it twice now, first time I got a temporary pass from Guest Services, which I took to the Annual Pass office in the main park later that day, when it was exchanged for a permanent annual pass. The whole process took no longer than about 30 minutes in total.

We renewed annual passes at Bureau Donald near the main entrance to the park also, this took all of 5 minutes.

Does anyone know or have experience of how to renew an AP online?

Well to answer my own question (incase anyone has a similar question) I have e mailed DLP guest communications and it is technically only possible to renew your AP online if you have a French address... Otherwise you have to do it in person at DLP or by post which takes 15 days from date of arrival of your application to the AP bureau.. Plus time for postage

Hi,

Hope someone can help. Im going to Disneyland for the day in October and was wondering of its worth buying an Dream Pass then so as to save for future trips.  Im then returning to Disney for 4 nights in November with my wife and 2 kids and the price is working out around £150 cheaper if I just book the package online only paying for 1 adult and 2 kids.  Im sure I have read in the forums somewhere that I will then be able to arrive with my family in November and only pay a few euros taxes so as to stay with my family.  Is this the case or have I made this up from somewhere, ha.

We made our first trip in November last year and then again in February, if we would of known about the AP in November it would of saved us a bomb but not going to get the chance to save as much now as probably only make one trip in next 12 months but with all the discounts you get its still worth the money if you can just pay the taxes.

Any Help you can give would be great..

Thanks

yes, you can arrive with your family and have your name added to the room at check-in, at no extra charge apart from local taxes of a couple of euros per night. Only thing is, a Dream Pass is more than £150 isn't it? You don't need a Dream Pass for access to EMH if you are staying at an onsite hotel - you get that automatically because you are staying onsite. So maybe a Fantasy Pass would be better value for you?

Thanks Elaine,

Thats great, Im going for the Dream pass just for the extra % off you get off for various things.  Just the extra 10% off in the boutiques will save me a fortune with the amount my kids seem to cost me in there.

Any idea if I can get the 20% off the one day tickets on the same day, if I was to go into the park and purchase it first?

Thanks

Be careful - buying the Dream pass just for the extra 10% may not save you money. The difference in price between the Fantasy and the Dream pass is €50-€60. So to make that extra money back through the extra discount you would need to spend €500-€600 just to break even.

But if you plan to stay off site and use EMH, in utility value, it is a great deal. think about it, disney factor that on an average day, you will ride 10 rides. Given you can do that many just at EMH, makes the Dream pass still worth while. That said, if staying in a Disney hotel, it is not as great a value.
since 2001 (many before that)

Also factor in the parking costs you dodge if you stay 'offsite' and drive in...

That alone is worth 15 euro a day in the Disney car park (or was last year!). We tended to park in the Vinci round the back of the Disney village for the subsidised 2 euro rate - a lot easier with a buggy!
