I notices that indiana jones is closed for almost 2 moths. Does anybody knows what they are doing in this time?
I heard somewhere (Sorry don't remember where exactly) that they are going to demolish and rebuild the temple. Does anybody knows if this is true? Why do they do this? Is the temple in such bad state? or are they going to build another different temple?

I would love some new additions on this attraction, or any other part of the park. Some things have never changed in 20 years. sometimes I got the feeling that they are only working on the disney studios and leave the park to be like a museum. I agree that some things should stay as they are. I mean I would totally scream if they one day decide to paint the castle blue  :o . But some little new touches and changes would be nice.

I believe they are redoing the scenery as it was only 'temporary' and they are now going to do it with longer lasting materials. I know I read it somewhere but I can't be sure where!
Newport Bay Club- 2006
Ranch Davy Crockett - 2007
Hotel Santa Fe - 2015

They are rebuilding the whole attraction, this time in 'real' materials. What's there until now was never meant to last long, it was an attraction added to boost capacity. A quick fix if you will.

It's unlikely they'll add a lot of effects, there's no money for that. And since the attraction has always been very popular, there's no need to 'plus' the attraction.

Studio Tram Tour is also often closed for refurbishments, is this due to the heavy usage of the scenes? Like the flames etc.?
Haven't been able to see it for the last 3 times and in Januari when I'm going it is again closed..

thanks.. that made sence

I don't know what they are doing with the studio tram tour, but I do now that the last 3 times I did this attraction the screens in the train didn't work. So I hope they are fixing that, The ride is so boring without the narration.  especially for first time riders who don't know where they are looking at.

This is wat InsideDLParis said:

"Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril will close from tomorrow, for an extensive refurbishment of atleast 5 months. "
"Parts of the Temple will be rebuild in stone and a complete renewal of the ride's loop is in store too!"

So it looks like it wil be closed for a while!

It was high on my list for my last visit to ride the Indy coaster. I was glad I was able to do it since it will be out for a couple of months.

Studio Tram Tour for those asking is having new trams built for it which should hopefully mean new screens and maybe even a new video...

Oh no! I will be traveling there and probably visiting the park on 5-May - what are the chances it's opened again by then? This might be my first and only visit to Disneyland Paris!

Posters on the booths into the parks say closed until April 30th inclusive so it looks hopeful :)

Yep Town Square photography shut today for refurb, you won't see scaffolding, they cover it well.

Going by RCDB (quite reliable I'd say), the entire coaster is being taken down and rebuilt...
