A rarity for DLP, a website update! http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/disn ... n-eo.xhtml Apparently 'Guests may get Splashed'. Could you get wet in the original attraction?

I also noticed at the top of the photo with the cast member on that there are some imagination institute logos left internally. They are not leaving them for the return of HISTA after Captain EO are they?

Don't know if there we're originally water effects back in the day, though it might be to make up for the effects from the original that aren't returning.

I hope HISTA isn't returning, it was fun for while it lasted but i'd rather see it get replaced by something fresh and new.

In the original attraction guests would get some water in their face when one of the characters sneezes.

I think, Hooter, the elephantlike thing, was sneeezing, like the dog at the end in HISTA.

Yes, that's correct.

Alain Littaye of DisneyAndMore recently conducted this interview with Imagineer Rick Rothschild at the Disneyland Hotel, and discussed the return of Captain EO to Disneyland Paris:

I'm not sure if Alain was pretending not to know anything about Captain EO Tribute's (missing) effects, to create a more interesting interview, or if he genuinely didn't know. But he's probably going to be a little disappointed when the attraction finally does re-open, because the laser beams and things like the starfield aren't going to be there. Also, HISTA's moving floor is supposed to bounce throughout the musical numbers, but not in time with the beat, which is apparently a bit distracting and unnecessary.

Great interview, so he says it'll stay for 2 years? Thank goodness, should give time to raise money for my next trip.

No, but I did keep seeing this strange guy with an Epcot logo on his shirt.

Funny seeing all the people rush into the theatre as if they weren't going to get a seat. It seemed like there were still some empty ones.
