I would also like to know how many £69 seats they have !!!

I think we should all complain. Not to get any thing out of it but so eurostar next time sort things out better.

You could wait until 12 weeks before travel and see if the indirect service gives you the £69 fares?

Start saving nectar points, we used ours and travelled on EuroStar for free this year. A tip for the future.

This seems so much weirder and harder, ordering Eurostar tickets from the UK to Disneyland.

I've been to London 6 times now in the past 6 years, from Belgium to the UK, and each time, I just ordered about 3 months in advance (sometimes even 2 months in advance), and I always have gotten the cheapest tickets.
(and the same rules apply: the longer you wait, the more you could be paying)

the cheapest fares are there nathalie, just not for any UK school holiday dates. Eurostar appear to have bumped up the price considerably for those, from the first day of sale (ie yesterday for February and May half term holidays). No-one I know on either this forum or another one, has got the cheapest fares for those dates, even phoning yesterday morning at 9am.

I've had a response from Eurostar:
We have sent the emails out in the order that the future booking reminder has been requested. This is the reason why we advised you to contact us from 9 am. We have sent the emails out in batches with different times to contact us. This has been done to prevent that our customers need to stay in a queue for a long time.

I'm assuming that means some peoples emails did say 8am?

Also re Nectar points, that's how we booked last year when our early May tickets cost us £200 for 2 adults & 1 child and we paid for most of it with points.  This year we saved £200 points but when I phoned at 9am  the cost was over £500 so more expensive than the tickets we got direct through eurostar.  We need to spend our points on our weekly shop over the next month to use them up and use our normal shopping money against the eurostar bill!

Thats exactly how i felt yesterday. Couldn't wait til 9am when  they went on sale, called all excited to be told the 100% price hike!
I was so annoyed at the time and had it been more than just Dylan and I to book for I definately wouldn't have bothered. I considered changing to October but then we would have to go half-term again and i think it will be exactly the same. Such a shame :(
Like Elaine says could you wait and do the indirect train?

We've booked to go via Eurostar in March 2013. We've already told our little boy (he's 3), and our baby is only 8 months. Every time something Disney comes on the tv/dvd he says "Disney castle next year!...get shoes on!!!!" and puts his shoes/wellies/whatever's in the hall, on :)
