Quote from: "mdw"Oh we are going in May from Ashford direct to Disney, I thought all tickets and baggage labels were given to us on the train?

If you've got Disney Express there's a very obvious Disney Express desk at Ashford once you're in the main lounge.

If you miss them for some reason they find you on the train to give the items to you.

Thank you. We are a group of 6, can we send just the men to the Disney express desk at both ashford and Disney train station or do we all need to be seen?

Yes, you can send the men, but part of the excitement is to let the kids collect their own packs. The desk is right beside the dooway to the platforms.
Parking, I had always used the multi story car park, which is listed as "the Eurostar" car park, but to reach it you drive past an open air car park that is nearly half the price! You can drop all passengers and luggage at the station and then park up. You also get to see the really cool lift up to departures!

Can you imagine how tormenting that is when this is your domestic station and you have to go past that every time you go to get onto a normal train? :D

Occasionally I do take the lift down to the lowest floor just for a burst of Disney magic!

Treating me and a friend to Standard Premier on the way there. It states that the menu is slightly different for the Disneyland Paris trip on the Eurostar site, does anyone know if this counts for the morning journey and what it is? Or am I going to enjoy a selection of stale pastry

I am trying to remember what we had for the outbound meal in standard premier in october. Sorry to say it was nothing that special, it was "breakfast" even though it was nearly lunchtime, I think it was a couple of quality sandwiches and a croisant with coffee or tea and a small bottle of OJ. I did'nt think much of the food, but the seats were very comfortable!
have a great trip.

Am I right in thinking that Disney Express is included if youve booked to stay at a Disney hotel?

Unfortunately not Ravensey, toonarmylass is correct. You have to specifically ask for it at time of booking. You can probably request it at a later date if you decide you need it, but you must request, and pay for it :)
