Same with mine, that's odd. I never noticed though. does that affect the officialness or the quality etc of the pins? :?

Does anyone else think the castle with the snow white core pin is a bit...erm..tacky   like really pink or something and a weird looking castle. I did buy it to complete my collection but just wondering??

Javey thanks for posting the pics, nobody can photograph pins better than you!!

I loved the 2 your daughter traded for! :D

No, it'll not affect the authenticity or officialness, they're still stamped and logoed, but there must have been a reason why the year was left of, I'd be suprised if they simply forgot, since a template stamp would have to be designed with everything intact before being pressed..

As for the Castle on the Snow White Pin, to be honest my main focus was Snow White rather than the Castle, so I never really noticed, I'll have another look now..    :o

Oh and thanks for the Pin Photography comments Aveen, I always try and get the best shots I can with them..      :D

Just checked the rest of my collection, none of the Romance Series have date stamps, the early pins do, Kermit and Miss Piggy Valentines, Paddy's Day Stitch, Earth Day (all the celebration pins) So looks like they are the only ones what have date stamps, LE and Online Editions, Core Pins dont. I thought Disney Pins always had the year stamp?

I'm just about to leave to go into town and get the new releases and maybe trade a few.

Oh thank God someone else noticed!! I was actually really disappointed with the castle, I've been waiting for that particular pin since pins first became available (for obvious reasons!! ;)), but the castle is awful! It's just too....pink! And it looks just a tad tacky. Having said that, I still bought the pin this afternoon lol!

I'm glad it's not just me thinking it, I think it's tacky because it also clashes with snow white's outfit...as well as the fact that it's just soooo pink. I bought it too though haha!

:D The official Pin Trading Site has been updated with all of our Disney Store's upcoming releases!

20th June

Madam Mim Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45156
Minnie House Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45162
Lion King Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45152

4th July

Ursula Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45159
Goofy House Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45165
Yet Another Tink Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45168
G Force Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45175
Baloo Pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=45172

:D Both the Villains pins look AMAZING, especially the Ursula one. I do like the House series, but never bothered to start collecting it. I think the Baloo core pin is great, but the Tink one is just pointless and I have no idea what that guinea pig one even is. :(

Note that all the prices are listed in dollars, but it does mention that the prices are actually in British pounds. Check out the price of the Lion King pin. I think this has got to be a mistake. There hasn't been a £3 LE pin since the Lady and the Tramp one, which was a reletively small pin with no effect. The Lion King seems to have Timon as a pin-on-pin, so I reckon this one is actually going to be £5.

Just a note about present releases. :) I'm so happy with the Donald birthday pin for £5. It's such a lovely pin! I love the colours and the glitter, and of course the price. It seems like a lot of the £5 LE pins have been nice ones (Bambi/Thumper pin, Stitch St Patrick's Day pin).

If the Lion King pin was £3 I think I would be buying about 5 of them hehe! Would be great but unlikely! :P

The Lion King Pin must be £3 as it is listed as $3.00 and underneath it states

QuotePlease note:
The retail price for this pin is listed in British pounds.

and all the other prices tally, core pins $3.00 LE $7.00[/color]

This is, however, the website that for a while hasn't had Disney Store UK pins on it at all. And the search function isn't great on it, either. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a simple mistake in the data entry.

Has anyone in this topic ever attended a pin trading event??

Was wondering what exactly happens at them!?
