Here's a picture of the crane behind the walls. If I'm not mistaken at WDW there was also a crane behind walls to put the decorations down. I think the crane is the best solution to paint the castle when sunlight is needed.

I have only posted the one picture with the crane behind the wall. The link redirects you to the twitpic site. I'm sorry that you can't see the photo. I don't know why it doesn't work.

Here's a picture of the crane in action. It was shot on Monday by Belle03 from DCP.

I really hope they use it to take that black thing from the top window of the castle

I think its something to do with Twitpic in general. And what on earth is that black thing, I can only assume the window broke.

I bet they must feel really shy on that crane! XD

But it seems strange to me that they would be all the way up there. I thought the top was done. Have they missed a spot?

It's funny, I totally expected the forced perspective of the castle to be ruined when they were up there, but it doesnt! That rose window is huge!

It looks like there's still many finishing touches to be made.

If you look at the back of that photo, they're painting the arches at the back.

Does anyone have any new photos of the castle? Does the bottom right side sill have the scaffolding it had last week?

Also does the crane they are using to paint the towers stay up all the time or does it only operate between certain hours?

Here's another picture of the castle and French Open Winner Rafael Nadal from the weekend. The golden spire is still missing:

I'm not sure about the crane, but I think it will still be there and used throughout the day. Since the refurbishment lasts officially until August, I can imagine there is still a lot to do. DisneylandParis from Micechat.com claims that there is still a lot to do.
