I saw on insideDLParis that the train show thing is going to the castle stage. People will get such a great view of the castle

Yeah it has been gone for a week I think. But still a little remains but only if you look carefully. Still a mistery what that was

It is looking good, though the back roof is disappointing, it no longer looks metallic (unless that is the lighting). also, I wonder when the gold spire will be back? Are the indoor waterfall and the water fountains in the back restored?

They were still working inside the castle so I think its not ready yet. I'm going back for the 14 July. I don't know but maybe if we are lucky the golden spires are back. If not I think they will be back only at the end of the rehab in September

After viewing many different photos of the castle in the refurbishment i do think the castle looks brilliant :thumbs:

Just got back. I have some really nice photos of the castle all lit up Sunday night, with the windows un-obstructed, which i will post up later along with my trip report.
I can say though that the gallery is not open yet, but you can get to the dragon. Depending on the day (kept changing), either access to the snow white store or the three fairies sweet shop is shut off as they move the crane about, but it is still best to avoid walking through the castle as much as possible thanks to the rediculous funnel of people.
It does look really impressive and sooo shiny- can see it from all the way over the other side of the park shining it's way through, especially with the summer weather.
