[WDW] - Parade of Dreams to move to the Magic Kingdom?

Well, acording to different sources, Disneyland's Parade of Dreams will have its last run on November 08 and then will be tranfered to the Magic Kingdom, starting on January 09.

That's strange because everyone was convinced that PoD would stay until 09/2010, being replaced by the new one to celebrate the 55th aniversary.

WDW are too cheap to build new parade units, also the reason why Block Party Bash is in the process of going over to the East coast. WDW gets a new parade without having to build a new one from scratch. Through second hand this parade is fantastic and Parade of Dreams would be a huge improvement on the current Magic Kingdom parade.

I can now tell you that according to Al Lutz of MiceAge.com, the new Disney parade to be titled "Worlds of Wonder" at Disneyland will start in 2010, and Parade of Dreams will move to magic Kingdom that same year.

Nice name! Does it fit next to Disney's World of Color (the DCA nighttime show) on purpose?

I'm guessing that after running "Magic" into the ground and then going crazy over "Dreams", we're now going to have a couple of years where "Wonder" is all around? :wink:

Gee, Tony, I'll have to "wonder" about that.     Actually, the next big thing could be "Worlds" (World of Color, Worlds of Wonder, it's a small world.)

Also, according to reports, there also might be a new Main Street Electrical Parade in 2010 at DLR in Anaheim to cover both parks based on the Dream Lights format at Tokyo Disneyland.  Tinker Bell is expected to take over as the lead performer for the Blue Fairy in that case.

You mean the once upon a dream parade? Or is it a different parade?

MinniesBestPal, if they indeed get these, you might see them in a Halloween or Christmas parade at DLP that could run in place of the Once Upon A Dream Parade if they decide that a holiday specific parade is needed.
