Can't help, but I totally dislike the flt 2 d buildings on that spot. They should have put them behind the tramtour station! And a couple more real buildings on the place they are now.

That's what i'm saying the wohle time! But especially on these pictures it look very temporary and will be changed when more money will be available

Can anyone upload a photograph of what this tunnel is supposed to look like, perhaps from the calafornia's version? I'm still slightly confused about the concept of it.

EDIT: Sorry guys, didn't read the thread title, still thought I was in the boulevard topic!

the tunnel doesn't belong to the ToT, it's part of the hollywood blvd placemaking. you can find a picture of the tunnel from studio 1 in that thread

Hey there guys I am new to the boards and wanted to ask a question about the Tower to see if anyone knows the answer?

ToT was my fav ride at MGM in Florida when I went a few weeks ago. Probably mostly due to Rockin Rollercoaster being shut :( but once I got the courage to go on (after lunch) I couldnt get enough of it!

For one I really didnt realise it was a yoyo ride rather than a straight drop from top to bottom and I loved the floating feeling you got when you were shot up and dropped.

I guess my question is - Will it be the same kind of experience? A series of being shot down then up and down and up? The thought of a near 200 drop scares the hell outta me :S

Thanks in advance!

I really like those pics you posted Winstonio  I've been wondering for ages what the scenery around the tower will look like  I think it looks great 8)

Also, I see that a few new balconies have been added to the front of the tower :D

But where are the great palm trees? I think these look ok, but its not good enough for the ToT

You mean the ones that can't survive in the Paris weather?  Or the plastic ones that still have to be installed?

Yes, (unfortunately?) it's the same kind of "faster than gravity drop" experience!

Are you forgetting there are still 3 months of work left?

The new trees look even nicer in those photos above (which are seriously exciting to see - ToT looks way more impressive from ground level without construction walls in the way!). They're probably quite Californian even if we don't know it, Hollywood can't be 100% palm trees, can it?

Pretty good match. :) The Boulevard sets seen from that Production Courtyard angle are pretty bad though, I agree... worries me a bit. :?

Thanks Baloo :) if its the same Yoyo up down floating in the air terror then its definatly on my to do list when I visit next year!

I went on the Orlando one 7 times in a row, so many times that the staff were being extra nice to me and I was so upset when we had to go take our seats for Fantasmic!

Not yet at our studios, but in DCA. Specially for the Halloween season very nice lightning effects at the HTH over there.

Will we ever get the same?

Here's an interesting-if perhaps, slightly violent animation of the Tower in WDW
