Take a look at the new 15th trailer: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xiwg3_disney-15-th

When ToT is featured, it says "Ouverture début 2008" at the bottom of the screen... opening early 2008!  So does that mean November 2007 ( start of the financial year and their season), or the actual year... January 2008? :?

The saga continues!

This appeared today (or at least seemed far more noticable today):

It seems to just be a painted board or something - but why? It's the wrong colours for the final tower. Maybe some kind of visual test of the design? :?

It could actually just be a trick of the light (it was slightly foggy and very cloudy today), but it's a weird detail anywho.

The side of the tower has progressed quite a bit in the past week:

The colour scheme still seems light, are we sure this is an undercoat and it will be the same as Florida and California? I hope so!

Yeah, it's definitely an undercoat, though some of this new colour is much darker than the back so maybe they're finally reaching final coat stages. The final colour won't only be darker but it'll have more "definition" to it and won't look as plasticy as the back of the tower currently does.

It'll be the same as California, I doubt they'll even adjust it for our grey skies (not so much that we'll notice anyway). It was designed for Paris first, afterall.

Just found this at DCP - finally something interesting happening!  The top dome was put in place earlier today.

It's starting to look like an actual hotel now. I wonder when DLRP will start getting calls for bookings?

Notice also that scaffolding is completely removed from the right sticky-out bit - does that mean this is the final colour, or is there more dirt and darker shades to come?

If its is the final colour, it does still look lighter than the DCA version dont you think? Looks pale against that grey sky too!

Just a guess, but I think they may leave it this colour and let it become "weathered" naturally, this is what they've done with Big Thunder Mountain - just cleaned it and let it develop it's own darker colour.

Perhaps this is why they are rushing the painting now, leaving a year for it to become weathered?

Just a thought!

It' looks amazing so interesting what some tarps and a dome seem to do to the building.  As for the stick out part, I cannot see this being completely the final coat, if you look the base of that section has not been finished well at all and can see them coming back to paint etc this area sometime within the next year.  Also I could definately think they would not age the building till the final few months, after all that's what they did with Space Mountain if I remember correctly, just so it does not age a year even before it opens.
