I would totally advise AGAINST giving your tickets to anyone who approaches you, even if they have children. Whats being described here shows all the signs of the organised crime gangs of Romany Gipsies. They use children to play on your emotions.

You think you are doing a good thing by giving your ticket to a family so the child can experience Disney BUT you are not. That child will NOT get to experience the park like your child, going on the rides etc.  The adults will either sell the ticket on or use the ticket to enter the park to steal from park guests. They use children to cover up the pick pocketing and theft.

These activities are totally illegal and French Police are aware and on to it, but it is very hard to actually catch them in the act.

Unfortunately, I feel like this is 100% accurate. Though it feels "racist" to pin these kind of accusations on any particular group, I have seen this reported in numerous credible news websites and documentaries and it is a very common tactic within certain areas of these communities to use young children and women to commit this and similar crimes.

And yes, you are breaking the law by reselling any kind of single user ticket...

I wish that Disney could have more control over what happens in the public areas near the parks, though I know they have little legal re-course for doing so.  :'(

As I have said before, if Disney really used there UV  handstamp system for park re- entry, then tickets given away by guests leaving in the afternoon, would be totally worthless.

Slimy yet satisfying

I agree. Do not give your tickets away. This is a ruse. Woman with children have been known to steal prams with all your shopping outside of rides. Looks less suspicious with a child. They are not waiting for kindness for a fun day out, they are waiting for a free opportunity to get into the park to steal. They often hang around on the path between Annettes Diner and the car park drinks machines ( toilets). Your good deed could turn into a nightmare for another guest...do not fall for it!

Unfortunately I still don't think they would work. As the tickets are hopper tickets and can be used to enter and re-enter as many times to the different parks how would the CMs know if it was a re-entry or entering for the first time for the day. The stamp thing is phasing out as it was really only used for tickets that could only be used once.

They changed the design of the stamp daily. If the ticket was used to enter either park for the second and subsequent visits that day, if you didn't have the correct stamp , you didn't get in.

The use of each and every ticket will be recorded, be it for entry, FPs etc.

This is why I kind of thing Magic Bands are a good idea... but at the same time, it's quite creepy how controlling it is, Disney taking your fingerprint, and you using this one thing which can track everything you do... I like the freedom of the paper passes, as annoying as they can get. Plus like people say, it's nice to share fast passes when you don't want them, but the magicbands would stop the touting and what not so I suppose it's a bit of a double edged sword..
