Believe it or not, this will be a traditionally-animated Disney film... on the big screen!

And a poster too! That was just showing the logo when I posted.

The crocodile does look a little Peter Pan-esque... especially with Tinkerbell floating nearby. And then you've got Kaa from The Jungle Book in the tree and the Bowler Hat Guy from Meet the Robinsons as the villain, all placed within the "Kiss the Girl" scene from The Little Mermaid, with the riverboat of The Rescuers in the background!

wow this looks amazing a lot like the little mermiad which is like laods of people favs so taht must be a good thing cant wait to watch it even thou im more excited for up but i feel this may be better

The final two remind me more of Treasure Planet's animation than the early 90s style, which is definitely no bad thing. I'll be amazed if they can return to animation as on top of the game as they were in 2002 (visual-wise, not story-wise).

Does anyone know what period the film is set in?

I love these pics, the backgrounds look so beautiful! Me and my boyfriend are going to NY this December, and I think NY cinemas are showing this from November 25th? If they are I'll be over the moon! I'm so excited about this film!
