Unusual Camera Angles
« on: April 05, 2013, 01:26:11 AM »
Everyone takes pictures of the castle, Big Thunder Mountain and so on... but last year I took a few shots from odd camera angles.

I tried to capture some unusual compositions and juxtapositions.

Here see how to the straight upright trees reflect the upright spires of the castle:

and here the shape of the Native American tepee tent reflects the shape of Space Mountain behind.

I don't know if these things are done intentionally but I love little details like these.

Post your unusual angles!!

I love the two castles in this photo and how they seem to be part of different kingdoms divided by the water in the middle. It is like a moat coming from the background separating them. I think it is also interesting the way the bridge cuts the picture in half and makes the upper part with the castles look more magical, like a far way land bathed in light. Another aspect is that there are different groups of people looking at different directions. I love the people passing under the bridge going in the direction of the furthest kingdom. They seem like ready for a new life in a new land. There is some hope in them. The ones that came from the kingdom now face the water with some fear. What lies ahead? There is a woman who seems terrified. She isn't ready yet... Will she have the courage to jump onto the boat and leave everything behind! The bridge also leads you to the unknown, to a dark forest full of shadows and adventures.
