hi elaine. just wondering, assuming i buy a 1 adult package on a discount (40% or 30% off.). can i still book/add annual passport holder(another 3 pass hodlers) for the price of local taxes only? or this only applies to a full price package?

yes you can do this with any discounted package - thats exactly what I did on our last trip.

i received an email today from dlp for passport holders promotion..50% off n 40% off..but at the same time today they started the flash sale on their website..
whats the difference then?..

Question on Francillen restrictions. Are you able to use the pass the day you purchase it and then not the next 2 days? In our case we arrive on Friday and the weekend is blocked out for both Francillean and Fantasy. Can we go Friday evening and again beginning on Monday regardless of which pass we purchase?

If so we can manage a small savings with the Fracillean pass.

Hi

We have just returned from DLP and had a great time. Having looked at your website before visiting we planned to get 5 Fantasy annual passports with a 20% annual discount (me, my wife, my son and my parents) as we all have the same surname. When at the park, we were told we couldn't do this as we don't all live at the same address. Please can you confirm if this is correct? Also if it is correct, please would you change your website as we ended up with a very disappointed son.

We have also just returned from DLP, we were due to go at Xmas but had to postpone due to the snow. My son's fantasy pass expired in December, we went to Donald duck ticket booth and asked what the blackout dates were for the fantasy ticket 2011, they didn't have them to hand, as we want to go Xmas and didn't want to take a chance we opted for a dream pass. I asked if he could have a discount using my dream pass, that was a no, i asked if he could have the extra 6 mths as we had had in august that was also a no. so we took the little card and went down, to the passport centre in main street, i again asked for the blackout dates, xmas was ok so we asked to change it back to a fantasy pass, no picture or anything had been taken at this point, this was also a no, I then asked for the discount that was also a no.

I am very very disappointed with all of this, we hold 3 dream passes, now 4 you would think they could of given the discount as it was in fact a new annuel pass. I am pretty disgusted to say the least and at these times you would think they would treat us better.

shame :oops: on you Disney!

the reason they can't give you a sponsor discount on the new annual pass is because its for folk who haven't held an annual pass before, or who have not held an annual pass for at least 2 years at the time they buy a new one. thats black and white, and has been the rule at least since 2007 when we bought our first passes. I'm guessing the free 6 months extension has ended now also, as it used to be offered automatically when you renewed your pass.

nots not the point, we have had ours for several years and it wasn't our fault we couldn't get over in December, all of ours now run out feb 2012 and we shall not be renewing. Disney will lose people its always been expensive but this week 9 euro for a pint, one fast pass at a time its not fun anymore, so we will give our daughter one more trip xmas and thats it for us.

didn't know we could do it by post. well we have 10 months to get over it and plan for december hope it doesn't snow and ruin another Xmas for us. We have also been for the last two summers using our passes and it was not enjoyable, Summer time is just far too mad, long queues, very hot, lovely in the evening with parades and fireworks though, winter time best for us.

My friend and me are going to stay in Disneyland from the 27th of april until the 28th, so two days of Disney Magic. We have already booked a hotel package and we´re staying at the New Port Bay Hotel.
Now we want to go later this year for another trip, because our friends are not able to come with us. Now we thought of buying the Francilien because I thought we would get the price of a one day ticket of the price of the passport. But now I understood it that way, that this offer isn´t available when you booked a hotel package? Do we have to buy the passport for the whole price? Then it wouldn´t be worth buying a passport for two extra days, because we had to pay the hotel anyway. And is there a room only booking? Here in Germany when you book it you always get the hotel package...
It would be nice if anyone could help me with my question =)

you can still buy an AP on your trip coming up, but no, you won't get any discount with your existing park tickets, as they will have no value on them (they will either say "nil" or "forfait" on the price bit on the tickets you get with a hotel booking).

It may still be worth getting a Francillien AP if you're planning another trip within a year - as the Francillien price may still cost less than a 2 or 3 day park ticket. You would have to buy your Francilien AP this trip for them to be any use on future trips, as they cannot be used for 2 days once you have bought them (ie you use them as park tickets one day, then they can't be used on days 2 and 3). You would also need to check Francilien AP blackout dates.
