Let's celebrate! Here's hoping they don't build anything ridiculous in it's place.

I assume they will create a mini lake of some kind and have a stage in the middle with water round it with the fountains floating in the lake will be interesting to see the progress.

Hallelujah! Would love to see some concept art of what's going to replace it.

A close up of the 20th Anniversary posters on the green walls:

Hooray! Now where did I put the champagne...? :D

The plaza will finally be back to normal. I can't wait to see it complete. They won't be adding anything there, though. It's just so that people can have a good view of the castle.

any idea on when it will be finished? The walls for the construction of the stage were there on my last visit in 2009. hopefully I'll be there again by the second week of February, and I wouldn't like to see those walls on the same place :S

I can't remember what it looked like before it was built, does anyone have any photos they can post?

What a sight for sore eyes.... I hope they're going back to this look (maybe without those gates).

I'd personally really love a foundation of come sort in the middle. Something else to make Disneyland Paris unique, and someone that can look classy and formal in the day, and come alive at night and be utilised for "Dreams."

And just look at all those benches! Central Plaza could do with an injection of extra seating, the (few) benches are always taken.

You can see from these pictures what a mistake putting a stage up was - Central Plaza was designed to be a park land: a thematically neutral area as well as a simply beautiful area to sit and relax. Not an entertainment venue (with the exceptions of the fireworks and Dreams.)
