Thanks for the pictures. It looks great. DLP's Adventureland is such a beautiful place. It's always a pleasure to stroll around the caves and bridges.

Always good to see refurbs, but..... does anyone else think the planks on the suspension bridge look a bit too new?

Probably only because the shipwreck in the background (which they were salvaged from?) is so grey. Seriously, it's great to see a patch of Adventure Isle looking new, vibrant, lived-in - not like the explorers moved on a hundred years ago. The red stained wood complements everything else really well.

^ They weren't there before, were they? Thats another nice little touch from DLP, simple, but effective. Like Anthony said in another topic, its good to see they haven't "lost it" (or whatever it was!lol).

Nice touches! I wonder if they were put there just to add a bit of interest to the area or for some more practical reason - say, to cover up something in the ground, or to block vehicles from the bridge (during nighttime maintenance)?

The bridge, especially the Adventure Isle sign looks great, but why did they put these things in front of the bridge? It doesn't look bad and it adds some nice touches, like Anthony said, but it doesn't make sense either.

Maybe they really want to hide something in the ground, but usually they use just cover plates. That's what we expect from Disney. Well done.

Good guess... Years ago, they added mooring bollards on the island side of the bridge, apparently for that same reason. I guess it wasn't enough.
