I don't think we actually have a topic just for World of Color, so here we go.

Some great new photos and a video of nighttime testing:

Lots of World of Color details: http://miceage.micechat.com/allutz/al010510a.htm

QuoteWhat is also throwing the DCA planners a curve ball is the fairly long run time of the World of Color show, which is currently clocking in at just under 30 minutes. (For reference, Fantasmic! clocks in at 22 minutes, Remember Dreams Come True fireworks are 17 minutes long, and Epcot's Illuminations show is 15 minutes long.) The prestigious London Symphony Orchestra is slated to record the official soundtrack for the show later this month, and Steve Davison has agreed to try and trim some scenes, but it's still going to be a very long show.
They must have been very pleased with the Once Upon a Dream Parade soundtrack then. :)

Disney Parks Blog has released a new video about WoC. It looks like they started testing with the fountains in 2007.

The World of Color soundtrack being recorded at Abbey Road studios: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2 ... bbey-road/

It was the Royal Philharmonic who did OUADP actually, not the London Symphony.

That's really amazing. By far the beat what Disney did in the last years.

Yes, wow! Although it would be odd if the lights on Mickey's Fun Wheel were on during the whole show. Seems like a bit of a distraction.

That second video, absolutely incredible. I really need to visit California to see this show in person. Talk about an ATTRACTION.

I second that
Attraction of the decade? Quite possibly, unless Disney produce something really special in the next few years
