Closures — attraction refurbishment schedules

They've been out on disneylandparis.co.uk for a couple of weeks, it's just that nobody's got around to updating any of the fan sites with the new dates. The closure's for March 2014 are as follows:

Captain EO:
1st to 31st

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril:
1st to 31st

Armageddon : les Effets Spéciaux:
17th to 19th, 24th to 26th, 31st

Crush's Coaster:
17th to 31st

Studio Tram Tour : Behind the Magic:
19th to 21st, 26th to 28th

I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed about the closure of Crush's Coaster - we're there from 1st to 5th April, and I'm guessing it will still be closed that week if it hasn't opened by Monday 31st March, which is a pity as it is the favourite ride of both my wife and son (and I rather like it too).

GUTTED about Crush - we never got on it last time we went, so that was a target for us this time... Oh well, apart from Indy, I am alright with the other closures when we go... Not too bad...

Crush coaster closed. That is too bad. I wanted to go in it. We wil be there from 20-23 March. So on Saturday the tram should be open again.

Not so sad about indiana jones. I thought my head would fall off from shaking so hard.

We are there 17th - 21st, so overlapping your stay a bit.
Yes, gutted about Crush, but wanted to try Indy as we never went on it last time we went. But not too upset about it. It could have been worse....

I am afraid you can't see them anywhere
Most of the time disneyland paris release closures only 2 or 3 months in advance.
But if they are there I am sure DLRPToday Will have a blog post about it.

So, the April closures are out, and my fears are confirmed - Crush's Coaster will be shut for the duration of our visit (1st to 5th), and so will Peter Pan's Flight. Oh well, we've been pretty lucky on our 2 previous visits, with no real closures to speak of. The full closure list for April 2014 is as follows:

Captain EO:
1st to 30th

Peter Pan's Flight:

This is ok, we arrive on 31st March and will have to do Studio Tram in the first 2 days and Peter Pan on arrival day, but we can live with out the others.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Have just found out, they have added Peter Pan to the closures from 17th March (the day we arrive!!) onwards!! GUTTED doesn't even describe it!!!

Our boys LOVE this ride, and they will be so sad when they find out they wont be able to go on it all week!!!
I know closures are necessary, but up until now, we thought we had got away with just Crush....
I can't even begin to explain how upset I am right now..... *runs off to hide under covers and have a little cry*

We are going 25th-29th May and the info for our days has come out this week. Our scheduled closures are -

Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril
Armageddon : les Effets Spéciaux
Captain EO
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Flying Carpets Over Agrabah®

They are the same every day except for Indiana Jones opening on our last day, so if we focus on that we will be able to fit it in before we leave. Not pleased about Armageddon though, its scheduled to be closed right the way through from 17th March, thought that it would have been open by the time we arrived. Why do they have to be closed for soooo long

Just thought too....I've been told that the Dumbo ride is one of the better rides that is open during the Magic Hours. If this is closed, will they make another ride available instead?

I hadn't thought of that. Peter Pan is shut when we're there between 1st and 5th April, anybody got any idea which ride usually takes its place during EMH?

When we went Feb 2013 it was Buzz Laser Blast, Space Mountain, Dumbo and the Mad Hatters Tea cups

We also go on 1st-5th. It's a shame about some of the closures but I guess we'll have to go again next year!!
