Mickey's Trailer on the move!

Take a look at this photo by wicketnic on Disney Central Plaza:

They've removed the temporary fence and hedge behind the Place des Stars, and it seems likely that Mickey's Trailer will be moved here very soon. I suppose this would be so that they can go full steam ahead on the Toon Studios construction... :?

Any thoughts?

The rumours were right - Mickey's Trailer will soon be moved to Production Courtyard. Whilst the work is being done, Mickey is signing meeting and greeting on the Place des Stars' Times Square set:

And work has now started on dismantling the old set to move it across the studios:

The foundations of the trailer are ready over at Production Courtyard:

(the dlrp.fr photographer must be very tall... haha)

And it looks like the backdrop in Animation Courtyard will be coming down very soon:

All this really makes you realise how much work and effort has to go into creating that one little meet 'n' greet area!

It doesn't exactly fit in Production Courtyard, but at least it adds a bit of colour and life to the area. What do you think?

Well indeed, it brings a bit more colour and fills that gap between TV-tour and Cinémagique. But you're right, the style doesn't fit in the Art Deco style of Production Courtyard. Maybe they're going to put a new backdrop on that fits the surrounding? And on the other hand... it's just there temporary, I hope :? ...

Yeah, i reckon it's definately temporary - if we're counting just over 1 year as temporary. :wink: They showed meet and greet locations exactly the same style as this one on the Toon Studios plans, so I'm guessing that it will indeed be moved back over there just before the opening of the new land.... which would leave the spot open to (hopefully) be given a meet n greet of its own? (just my own speculation)

It'll probably look better when they change the background back to the Hollywood hills...

Cool! I expected them to just leave it until next year when Toon Studio is added on.

What's in its old location now? Just a blank wall like on the original park map? I'd love it if they put Toon Studio on the map from this Winter, but have it faded out like HKDL did with Autopia...
