Very good photos there Honey! They are beautifully edited and has a lovely atmosphere.

As promised in "how is your day going?" I will be posting some photos from my trip to Tuscany in this topic throughout the next days and here is the first update from the trip to our hotel in the little termalbath city Chianciano Terme in central Tuscany.

This trip took two days with bus with us leaving northern Denmark (the first stop of the bus) at 04.05 in the morning on last saturday (4th of July) - this day ended in Greding, Germany where would be sleeping before driving the rest of the way on the 5th of July through the Alps, Dolomites, the Po Plain and finally through the Appenines before arriving in Tuscany.

Here is some of the pictures I (and my dad) took on these dates - most of them is taken from the bus and I haven't had the time to edit them yet:

This was the view from our hotel room at Hotel Christl in Greding (not the best place on earth, but it was good enough for only night of sleep):

The hotel was a bit little and I had some height issues, which gave a little headache when I smashed my head into the door frame :P:

Three pictures from the impressive Alps - the first is the view from what must be one of the world's most beautifully placed McDonald's:

Finally a little panorama of a small Italian city:

More pictures will follow in the upcoming days. (I know my little trip reporting is a bit off topic but I do not want to make a topic for this report by itself due to the lack of Disney material, although I can say that there will be more Disney than I expected :P)

Thanks TBB and Laura...

These photos are not the best due to the circumstances.

To answer your question Laura, my latest passport says that I am 2 meters and 5 centimeters, but I think it is more like 2.03, but it is definetely more than 2 meters :P

People tend to feel small next to me :p I experienced an extreme example on this vacation - on a little island we met a very small woman who was less than 1.5 meter high :P

She was definetely less than 1.5 meters so she was very tiny, which 1.69 isn't in my opinion. I will post a picture of her later so you can see her tinyness for yourself ;)

I always wanted to be a little taller, 5'7 would be nice I think thats about 175cm maybe...though I'm just guessing. Its not that much taller than I am but I've always wanted to be that tall lol
Though I can reach that height and taller when I wear heals [on the rare occasion I'm able to walk in them]    8)

Here are 8 more photos from our first day in Chianciano Terme - my dad went on a trip to a local vineyard driven by a danish woman, but because neihter me or my mom drinks red wine we decided to stay in the little town of Chianciano for a day to relax and discover the town, which is parted in to three parts; a new one, the hotel area and the ancient town which is located on the top of the hill on which the whole town is located.

This first picture is of the newest church in the city:

This was the finest place in town - "Piazza Italia" - from which the road "Via Roma" started, on this street the finest shops in town was to be found:

A nice gelateria on Piazza Italia - I am in love with italian ice cream after this trip :

A typical tuscany landscape - very beautiful and with a very charasmatic light:

Of course when you are in Tuscany you will see wine and olives:

This place was altered everyday so it showed the date made out of flowers and plants:

Last but not least the first "sign of Disney" on the trip (more to come): :p

Wow, love your pics. Tuscany looks wonderful! And I like the changing flower date thing. Maybe you could do a trip report? It's always nice to read about different locations. Did you go with your entire family? And jeez your tall! I'm the same height as Laura, about 168cm. I once dated a guy who was your height and I had to stand on his feet in order to kiss him haha.

I can make a trip report if people want one...

I went with my parents so it was all of us who still live together who went on the trip. About the height I can imagine it could be difficult with a girl with that height, but on the other that shouldn't stop anyone :)

The italians were also very impressed by my height - all of them asked me if I was a basketball player :p

I second that, the photos are lovely! I really want to visit Italy so I'm really excited about when I hopefully do when I leave Uni
Your photos just make it look even more beautiful than I'd thought.

Not only do we have interests in common Honey, we now have our heights that are similar if not the same too!

Thank you for your comment Laura - there are plenty of more photos to come here and even more on Facebook

I have just bought Aperture 2, so hopefully I will be "apple" (  the baddest joke ever) to upload some edited pictures from the trip too during the week.

Well we do seem to have quite a lot of things in common including being midgets haha. I've always wanted to be taller as well but have found that being small do have it's advantages (like getting through the tiny doors in Alice's labyrinth haha). Bwt, starting working out today so I'm back on course!

Nicolai, please do write a trip report. I want to see more! And add me to FB! :D
