Don't want to rain on your parade of anything, but i think i read somewhere that image is a photoshop image and therefore fake.

I've read that before, but whether its just been spread because of jealousy or just plain 'you couldn't get that shot'ness I don't know.
Its either an incredibly well timed shot or...photoshopped. =]

Here's a photo of mine. Not my most briliant photograph, but added a little Photoshop to make it fit my new pink frames. I LOVE Paris more than any other city. I love everything about it, every little detail. So I'm decorating my appartment with bits and pieces of Paris and wanted a picture of the Eiffel Tower.

What camera did you use? it looks like its been shot with a film camera! and I do love myself some film camera shots or digitals that look like they've been shot by film

The camera used is a regular Canon Powershot that I bought about 1½ years ago. Not the newest model but not an old one either. Not a film camera at all, but I was on a tour boat sailing by the Eiffel Tower when I took the picture. And by the way, not sure if this interests you Laura, but in Paris by the Seine you can by original photo postcards from vintage 1700 Paris with lots of amazing motifs. All written on and with old stamps. They're gorgeous and I always buy a few whenever I'm in Paris.

Well then I very much do enjoy how you have edited the photo! as it looks great, like an old film camera shot that has been kept for the memory if being there! I love it!
Aww wow!
I'd love to get my hands on some of them!
Could you possibly scan some and post them up on here? pleases  [-o<
They sound beautiful

I'll scan some of the photographs for you after dinner. I've already framed some of them. I love old pictures where you get an idea of what life was like a long time ago, especially in Paris. I hope to find vintage finds in New York as well.

Here's another photo of mine, taken from the top of Galeries Lafayette (one of my favorite places to shop in Paris). Edited in Photoshop - obviously.
