Can anyone tell me a bit more about the rumoured trackless system? I'm just wondering what its advantages are over amore conventional omnimover type.

When they used it in Pooh's Honey Hunt, there was a great bit at the end where all of the cars were moving around each other.

That explains why some of the trees weren't cut down. They hide the back part of the building from the tram tour. I wonder what they'll put on the back of the costuming building.

Whatever happened to the Paris facade that was supposed to be temporarily going up on the costuming building? Did that stop when they hastily covered up Gusteau? On that point, now it's going ahead, are they going to uncover Gusteau again?

I'm glad this is finally happening (although STILL not 100%!), all of the other resorts are getting new and exciting attractions, and once again Paris was just sitting there looking like it was stuck in the middle of a theme year blizzard!

Exciting stuff. The park needs this ride. The only thing that bugs me is the fact that it's a way tucked up the back of Toon Studio, an area thats seen ample development and expansion. Can't wait for the rest of park to get some attention.

They're probably focusing on expanding Toon Studio, rather than redeveloping the rest of the park because:

1. The park needs expanding more than it needs redeveloping.
2. With Toy Story Playland and Ratatouille, they're starting from scratch, which is easier/cheaper than redeveloping an existing facility (e.g. gutting Armageddon and building a new attraction in its place).
3. Toon Studio is home to the Pixar characters, and Disney considers anything Pixar low-risk, which is why they prioritise Pixar attractions.

Rumour has it the workshop at the back will relocate to make way for fastpass machines, toilets and possibly a shop, with a new façade in front to complete the square around the fountain.

It would be awesome if DLP could use some of their newly-abundant funding to give the pathway behind Art of Disney a real theme or some reason to exist. With Ratatouille it'll be even more important and yet feel even more like you're stepping out of the park to a self-contained add-on, rather than a true area of the park.

The French title "Désastre en Cuisine" is now being mentioned on DCP, though I'm not sure if that's a real working title or just their translation. I like both titles anyway. Short, snappy and fun!

Is this part of the reason why the Tram Tour was closed: to make room for the construction equipment to get on the site? They've removed the blue fence on the road.

Interesting. That would be good. Especially with the toilets. The Toon Studio really needs some. XD
