Dlp today announced today that most season of the force entertainment will continue till long after the 26e of March.
Only the night time projection show will stop when the season of the force is over.

I dont know what to think about this. I am happy I guess since this means I will able to see the shows at my next trip. But confused to. It sound like a very stupid idea. What would be the appeal to go to season of the force in 2018 when you can see everything just a few months before in a warmer and more popular time of year? Was season of the force not planned to get more people in the park in February when attendence is normally very low?

I was planning to go February 2018 just for the season of the force but don't feel the need to go anymore since I wil see almost everything in my trip on the 28e of March.  Or will the night time show be worth it?

What do you think?

I will be happy to see this on our visit next July. I was a little disappointed when the season of the force announcements initially came out as I am a star wars fan and felt I would be missing out. Thanks for the update. Even more excited for our trip.

I believe the content is a near carbon copy of the same from Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, and I can confirm that if it translates well from the Chinese Theatre to the Tower of Terror the nighttime show will be far and away the highlight of Season of the Force. The daytime shows are nice and fun but the nighttime show in Florida is spectacular.

I have absolutely no interest in Star Wars so hopefully this will mean other things are quieter when they're on!

Well if that is the case maybe the nighttime show is a good excuse to visit dlp again February. But do I really need an excuse anyway  ;)

I was just wondering if it is a smart move from dlp to extend the other shows, And what could be the reason to extend it? They are not really marketing it. So it should not draw in many extra guests (expect the crazy fans like us), right?

On a personal note woohoo! I have 3 boys and a hubby who would love this but my baby is due April so we couldn't make it before then so this is a major excitement for us!

I was very surprised of this decision as it doesn't give the Season of the Force any exclusivity apart from the night time show and a strange decision from a marketing perspective and to boost guests to come in the low season. I wonder weather this is an idea because it's push bookings up so much they think it will do the same for the spring and summer bookings and to get more families to visit.

There is only one half term break during the Season of The Force dates currently so I imagine that may have put families off booking. By extending it to include summer holidays and easter holidays more families may book.

I hope they have a nighttime projection show in August too - but withsome other live-action stuff like the Marvel films and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as Star Wars. The very least they could do is have a Summer nighttime projection show if they're really going to get rid of the excellent Cinemagique.

I've just come back and tbh although the stuff during the day was ok and nice to have, its the night-time show on Tower of Terror that was the highlight. Absolutely spectacular. I wish it would become a permanent addition, unfortunately my kids didn't come with me this time so couldn't see it - we are hopefully going together as a family later this year and I know they'd love it...
