I can't remember the specific price but I did they did mention is was cheaper than a park view CC room which was £3600 for 4 nights. It only has a double bed though hence why we didn't even bother looking into it.

Yeah, I think that's a bit beyond what most of us on here want to pay. Anyone that is in a position to use the suites, well done (please adopt me)

....that sort of money is crazy in my eyes, but I am just a meere peasant! my 7 night Disney cruise which I consider a 'dream trip' is coming under £3k

I've been dreaming of this for the last 3 years and next Monday the dream comes true!!
When we went, adults only, a few years ago, we stayed offsite and went each day to the DLH for breakfast (at the time it was only €15). I announced there and then I would come and stay in that hotel for my 40th birthday.

We got AP's last year when we were camping near DLP and in the Autumn I found the best offer possible for the dates I could go, which was to book just myself into the hotel for 4 nights, costing €1550, and we'll add my husband and children when we get there. This price was still cheaper than using the AP discount at the time. I paid 15% deposit and every month or so rang up and paid another bit off.
I was 40 a couple of weeks ago, it was our 10th wedding anniversary 2 days ago and my daughter turns 9 while we are there.

I am BEYOND excited about this trip. I never thought I'd be able to afford it. But keep dreaming, where there's a will, there's a way

I think I must be strange.  I don't think I'd stay there even if I could afford it.  I LOVE walking through the Village on the way to the parks each day and that is all part of my holiday / the magic.

(I know I could still visit the village but it wouldn't be quite the same).

I emailed the hotel to last them know about booking the others in and mentioned all our special occasions. I got a lovely reply from them so fingers crossed for some pixie dust!!!!!

Whenever we've stayed in the DLH (and the last time was years ago!!) I found that we never went to the Village. Even going to the Studios felt like going miles away... I definitely missed it (though I would still stay there if I could afford it!!)

There are 4 adults going so for us it works out under £1000 each including travel which I don't think is that bad! I wouldn't pay that much if I had to fork out for the whole trip though. Also it must be said I don't have children nor wish to have them so my income is solely for me
