Hi. I'm staying in Adagio apartments in 2 weeks.  Could anyone please tell me how much is a return train to central Paris to go see the Eiffel Tower a day.  2 adults and 3 children. How long does it take and would we get train from near hotel rather than backtracking out to Disney station.  Thanks!!  Oh also where's best to buy train tickets?

How old are the children? Adult fares are age 11 and over in Paris. Adult fare is €7.60 single and child is half price. There are no return tickets. Alternatively if two or more of the children are 11 or over, a "carnet" (10 single tickets, valid either direction) costs €60.80.

This assumes you will only be going directly from DLP to the Eiffel Tower (or anywhere in Paris zone 1) and back. If you want to make extra individual journeys within central Paris by Metro or bus you may prefer to get a Mobilis ticket costing €16.60 (adult only; children 10 and under would get a Paris Visite ticket for €11.75). Note that you must write your name and the date on the ticket with a ballpoint pen for it to be valid and may be asked for ID in the event of an inspection. It is de facto mandatory to carry ID wherever you go in France.

It'll be easiest to go from Marne-la-Vallée station but you can walk to Val d'Europe if you prefer. The fare is slightly cheaper at €6.90 adult single or €55.20 for a carnet but the 1-day tickets cost the same.

Buy the tickets at the station; ticket vending machines sell all the required tickets and have an English language option. Do not attempt to buy online as they will be more expensive.

We stayed at the Adagio over December 2014-January 2015 and went to Paris twice. The prices stifle mentioned above sound correct. You can get your tickets from the station and its very easy. The machines allow you to select English language.

Personally I'd recommend going in and out from the Val d'Europe station as its only a couple of minutes walk from the Adagio - no need to go into Disney/Marne le Vallee first  ;D

The Adagio is a great base to have for Disney - you get everything you need (the dishwasher is a godsend!) and you get a separate main bedroom, with sofa beds for the kids in the lounge area, so the adults can get some privacy at night  :D Its not the best pool in the world, but its certainly nice to have one :)

BTW If you are looking for a good quality and affordable burger style restaurant in Paris, both Quick and Flunch are cheap and good quality, with decent portion sizes.
