After the massive success of Glow Fest, Disney is following up with an even bigger event debuting October 8: ElecTRONica. It will feature lights, lasers, live dancers, a recreation of Flynn's arcade, and a lot more. The Disney Parks Blog gives us a first look:

As they say in the digital world of TRON, "Greetings, Programs!" Today, we're sharing concept art that gives you a first look at the new party we're calling ElecTRONica. I'm told it's the greatest nighttime dance party to ever rock Disney California Adventure park.

Beginning October 8, the interactive, digital world of "TRON: Legacy" will light up Hollywood Pictures Backlot as we gear up for the film's release on December 17. This will be a cool opportunity to peek inside the world of this movie, and it's available only to visitors of Disney California Adventure park.

It's an "electrifying" experience for the entire family, filled with music, lights and some of your favorite food and beverage, all set amidst the captivating world of "TRON: Legacy!" From a dazzling dance club under the stars to an authentic recreation of Flynn's Arcade to some radical gaming, it's like nowhere else on the grid! Each night, we'll feature live entertainers, complete with lasers, glow accessories and the hottest music ever to rock the grid. ElecTRONica is "the" place to dance the night away in a fantastic world that only Disney can create. Highlights for the entire family will definitely be Flynn's Video Arcade, face painting and the TRON: Evolution video game area.

ElecTRONica will transform Disney California Adventure park Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this Fall. TRON fans and families can also enjoy the party seven days a week during Thanksgiving week and Christmas week.

Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog, as we'll be sharing additional details soon, and if you want to stay up-to-date with the latest happenings on ElecTRONica, follow us on Twitter, @Disneyland.

It is looking cool, it would be great if we had something similar either in WDSP or the VIllage.

This party looks great. DLRP needs such events. I'm sure it would keep the guests in the park. WDS would be the perfect location.

It seems that Disney is very confident in this movie.

Hey guys,

I actually work with Disney and am happy to see that you guys like ElecTRONica. I have some more news and updates about the film for you! Are any of you Daft Punk fans? If so there is a great way to hear a hidden clip of a song from the soundtrack. Check out this MTV article and once you hear it, let me know what you think!

Think it's great for the movie?

Pete's Dragon - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU so much.  This looks SOOOOOOooooooo awesome. WE would never get anything like this in Paris :-(

Man, I want to be in California right now. Between HAlloween with the Nightmare Before Christmas makeover of Haunted Mansion, Ghost Galaxy Space Mountain, Halloween fireworks, World of Colour, elecTRONica.  Add in Knott's Haunt and Hanging. Fab. Whereas Paris has a meet and greet with Dr Facilier, Jack and Sally. People wonder why I get grumpy at DLP.

Check this out!   OMG I want to enter the grid. No rubberheads, stuff that appeals to adults. A reminder that DLP is a wierd pretend Disney resort:

Lol, talk about inspired marketing and aiming it at the right people in the right way.
Laser Lemonade, Glowjito, Digitini -   ooooooh
Then for the low-brow amongst us - Draft Beer. No fancy dressing or gimmicky names, just beer - pure and simple (like the white trash who'll be ordering it)

P.S. Only 2 drinks per guest. Is it any wonder there will never be a Disneyland Ireland

After seeing all the pictures and videos you realize how bad the european resort is. We will never see such great events. People just want to see stupid toons. I don't have kids and I would immediately join such an event. At least the other resorts try to cater to the adults. DL did Electronica, WDW does the Food and Wine Festival and there is no need to talk about TDR, because there they try everything to make adults happy.
