If you book the Eurostar far enough in advance, you can get a return from London to Disneyland Paris for £59. That's for one adult. So two adults would be £118 in total, and three would be £177. That's the total price when you book online at Eurostar.com

Even at the more usual price of £89 for one adult return, you're looking at £267 for three adults to go to Disneyland Paris and back.

Quote from: "poppie123"I rang this morning and was told that January dates will go on sale on the 3rd of August. I want the 6th-10th.

I rang back this evening to ask for a call back when they go on sale and was told that the 3rd wasn't confirmed yet and that she didn't really know what date they would be released  ](*,)

I check every monring in work, and was amazed that they were finally there, and even better they were cheaper than I had budgeted  :D/  Only £197 for the 3 of us (£222 I had calculated), so in total our hol comes to £545 instead of the £930 that Disney were quoting to do the stay with Eurostar
Will probably add Disney Express a bit nearer the time, but other than that I am well pleased it is all sorted  :D

I'm really impressed with Eurostar at the moment. I rang yesterday to see if tickets were available for next February and was told they were expecting them very soon and took my details to call me when they are released. At 8.30am this morning they called, and by 9.30am I'd booked the tickets. Standard return fare from Ashford (3 adults and 1 child) on direct train £251, but we went for Leisure Select there and Standard back at a cost of £411. Was very pleased with these prices as the cost was much higher if booking with Disney direct.

I booked my tickets for Oct 30 - Nov 3 for less than I thought.  If I remember correctly, it was 100 pounds round trip.  I just  booked the standard tickets, but I am already spending a lot for this trip.  I am looking forward to it though!!

Ive booked just the train from Ashford & i was wondering about the kids pack.
My son is 3 will he get a kids pack? He didnt last year & i didnt see any children with them.
We are not bothering with the Disney Express with only stopping at Hotel New York its not worth the money,it will only take a few mins to pick our suitcases up.

Sorry to be annoying but for a first time eurostar this october i wanted to know what is the whole process.

Where using the eticket machines.

So what is the process from getting your tickets to checking in, luggage passports to boarding etc ?

Thanks if anyone can give me an example :)

Hi Owain, haven't used the print at station tickets so can't say I've used the machines there, I think they are very straight forward though. We've printed our tickets at home and when you enter the station you'll see scanning machines next to the turnstiles that you need to enter through. there are also staff about to help. I guess if you print at station the process will be the same, scan at turnstile and away you go. Luggage goes with you all the way on to platform and you'll take on to the train yourself, be warned that the Eurostar is not terribly well equipped to deal with a train full of holiday makers and their luggage. If you can get on the train early, I would, as getting your luggage stowed away will be a lot easier. If you get on at Ashford its a bit more rushed as the train only stops briefly but it's still ok. Passports are checked at the station but be aware they will be checked again on train, we've only now learnt not to pack them away once on the train as getting them out of that suitcase, now at the bottom of a pile of suitcases is a royal pain. We've always really enjoyed going by Eurostar, it's easier to keep the kids happy than by car or plane and it greener too, plus you arrive slap bang in the middle of the resort which makes for more park time on arrival and departure days, we're usually in parks till about 18.00 then catch the 19.00ish direct service home. I guess you've already bought your tickets but if you choose to use Eurostar again I'd recommend using the website function to choose your individual seats, particularly if you're travelling with children its nice to get seats in a carriage at either end of the train as you'll get less traffic of people going up and down aisles to buffet/toilets etc. Direct service is always good if you can be at London/Ashford early enough, if you have to change at Lille it's not too difficult and you have about 45 mins to wait for the TGV which again will take you straight to the parks.
It's really much simpler than flying, last year we hit terrible traffic and arrived at Ashford with only 10 mins to go but were able to park, get through passport control, show tickets and be on the platform in time, plus they bumped us up to first class  :D Have fun

Luggage is my main concern, what size suitcases did you take ?

Check ! Always keep passports on you

Yeah we have prebooked our seats, we booked 3 seats on a table seat in carriage 4.

Yeah we have the change at lille, should be fun though as we arrive much earlier than if we got the direct service even if we have to get up early  ;)

Thanks dopey dad, youve been very helpful !

Hi Owain, we're 2 adults and 2 kids but we end up with 1 large suitcase,1 large holdall, pram and hand luggage. A lot of things will fit in the parcel racks above your seats, pram, all but the larger holdalls etc. There's space for large suitcases at each end of the carriages and some designated luggage areas in I think 1 carriage somewhere near the middle but we've not used this as we want our bags nearby for quick exit to the parks. If the space on each carriage runs out you'll often see luggage in the small areas by the doors, I try to check with a conductor which side we'll exit the train from if I have to do this and it pays to get to your luggage a few minutes before arrival so you can get them out of everyone elses way. Generally I find that everyone is in the same boat on this and it's really nice when you see people helping each other out getting heavy cases off the train. It's all part of the fun and not a big problem at all, we're gotten quite adept now and it's surprising how quickly you can get 1 child, 1 baby, pram, suitcase, bag and holdall off the train when you can see the parks waiting   :D

Thanks DopeyDad, We will probably take 1 medium/large suitcase with us each and hand luggage. So glad to here that you can take large suitcases  :)

Does anyone know what I should expect to pay for Eurostar- two adults and two children in May? Booking through Disneyland seems really expensive when I've looked at other months. Thanks

I paid £182 for 2 adults and 1 child in Feb. I think the price was one of the cheapest they could do so the earlier you book the cheaper it will be :D
