I love the Monster's inc pin, it's so cute...

I got it the other day and traded for these 2...

there wasn't many good ones to choose from, someone keeps taking the ones I trade in and putting core pins on it. Although I am glad to have the small world pin :D

Can anyone tell what the new pins are from the very poor photos that the Disney Store provides us with?

is one Cruella? on the bridge maybe?

and is one a Mickey 1935 "The Band Concert" one? it looks really good, and true to the original anaimation, I hope Donald is there too. Hopefully it will be the start of a new series.

I have no idea on the what is obviously a slider pin, is it a plane?

I just took a look at the pins there after I read your message and appart from the Mickey one I really cannot make out what the other 2 are. I was thinking the slider one could possibly be Stitch in a rock or something but it's so hard to tell. I think you are right that one is a bridge with the puppies (101 dalmations) running under it with Cruella's car above it!

Is the logo for pin trading going to be a core pin or is that picture just there? I am guessing it's just a picture since there's no release date.

^ I know what you mean I like to be able to look forward to the release of shiney new pins and can't exactly do that when the photos are so small I'm not exactly sure what the pin is!  I mean I'm not going to plan a special trip to the Disney Store to buy these pins on the strenght of those pictures and I doubt many others will either.

:o The next lot of Disney Store pins has been added to the official pin trading website!

A Bugs Life pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=46907
Hercules vs Hydra - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=46910
Concert pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=46919
101 Dalmatians pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=46913
Mr Toad pin - http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pint ... n?id=46916

I'll most likely be getting the Hercules one, but that's about it out of the five. The Dalmatians pin and the Mr Toad pin are both LE of only 200, which is probably why they're so expensive. But still, what a rip-off! The Dalmatians one isn't too bad, but the Mr Toad one is rubbish in my opinion. Online pins don't sell that well as it is (all the online pins ever released are still available), so I don't know why they think that lowering the edition size but increasing the price is going to help.

They really aren't doing themselves any favours releasing a mr.Toad pin   :D ! He's not really a well known character and the pin itself is horrible! The 101 Dalmations one is "ok" but a little boring! The only one I might get is the concert one!
Whoever is designing the disney store uk pins isnt doing a very good job in my opinion. SOme of them have been great but others are very plain and look how many tinkerbell plain core pins have been released! There are so many wonderul disney characters and films, why on earth are they releasing such ugly pins! :(
I think another reason the online pins aren't selling well is because theres a £5 postage charge so for 1 pin the total is £13 or £21 for only 2 pin!

Thanks for posting the links too, I was wondering what on earth that Mr.Toad pin was! :P

:P I think you and I could do a better job Aveen. Whoever designed the Mr Toad pin is totally out of touch. Sure, it's better than yet another Tink pin, but Mr Toad is about as obscure as a Disney character can get! I'm sure there will be a few people out there who appreciate it, but really, they need to stick with something a little more mainstream than Mr Toad.

And yeah, the P&P thing is my main issue. I really want the Robin Hood pin, but there's no way I'm paying £13 for it. I'll probably just wait until there's like 5 pins on there that are worth buying, because then the P&P would only be £1 each!

Yeah postage is my main problem too!  :(  They obviously don't want to sell them :P

They could at least do an offer of - buy 5 pins and get free postage or something lol! :P

If you and I designed the pins they would be all of the Cheshire cat and stitch...and Alice, I love Alice hehe!

That would be so great, because then I'd happily buy pins off the website! Ah well, maybe they'll get the hint eventually, once they realise that those pins just aren't selling.

:P Hehe, if I was designing pins I'd want to make them of my fave characters that have hardly any pins of them already. There's quite a lot of Cheshire pins already, but not enough of my other fave villains such as Gaston, Scar, Ratigan, Shere Khan, etc.

Hehe so you like the villians then?

I would love more of Pocahontas, esmeralda, mulan, wendy, boo - I like all the less popular female characters I guess lol!

:P Yup, I love villains.

It would be so awesome if they ran a design a pin contest over here. I'd send in soooo many entries.

That would be great! Plus it would show them who people like lol - still can't get over the Mr.Toad one! I wouldn't even have minded that much if it was a decent Mr.Toad pin but you can hardley see him anyway! :P  :P

Like I said, I'm sure someone somewhere will be happy. I have a friend who's a massive fan of the Dormouse from Alice in Wonderland, which just goes to show that people can like even the most obscure of characters!

It just seems very strange though that out of all the hundreds (or maybe thousands) of characters they could've chose to make a LE 200 pin of, they chose Mr Toad.
