so sad, BTM closed in may when we are going. I know I really should not complain because most things are open, but this is our absolute favourite ride :(

Anyone have any idea when the June closures will be published?

Just seen the closures for June, thing is, we have a son who HAS! to go on big thunder mountain, it is his favourite and the only reason we are going, it says it will be closed until the 14th of June, we are going to arrive on the 17th, does this mean there is a chance they could over run on the refurbishments?  Or are they usually spot on?

Thanks for any replies!

Hi aircanman - I noticed the june closures a few days ago - we are there through the time of Big Thunders closure :-/

But I'm guessing the it will be up and running for your trip on the 17th again - lucky thing! :D

Gutted! - I really don't know how they can close it in June, it was so busy last year when we went that time!! - Anyways, it does look like they will open it by the time I get there, but I would love to know if those dates are set in stone, because our boy would be so upset if it was closed, its his favorite ride and he can't ride much else.

October opening hours and refurbishments are on-line today for October.

A bit sad IASW is closed during our visit, it's one of the kids favourites and it's the 2nd time in 3 years it's been closed, but it would have been so much worse if it had been POTC or PM.

Yes just read it too, IASW is a bummer but I had more worries about my other favourites like Star Tours or Rock'n Rollercoaster :)

Just found out that Phantom Manor, one of my 'must do' fave rides, is closed from the day after we arrive.
Our package doesnt include park tix for the day of arrival, and I wasnt going to buy extra ones but I definately will now as I just can't miss out on doing PM!
This means I will pay approx £150 for 3 tix for just a few hours in the Parks, but I figure it's essential.
Disneyworld 1990
Disneyland Paris 1996, 2002, 2004, 2013, 2014...

Really hoping that the current list of october closures does not change - whilst we are there not one single thing is listed as being shut! Never experienced that before :-)

Oh no, IASW is closed for pretty much our whole stay (it opens on the day we leave :( ) That's terrible, it's one of my daughter's favourite rides...

I sympathise. BTM was closed for all but the first day of our last trip and it is the absolute favourite ride of my whole family! I have been praying to the Disney gods since May that it is open for our trip in October.

That is a long closure for IASW - wonder what they are doing in there? Plus wont they have to close it again a few weeks later for the xmas overlay :?:
