Here's some photos I took in the last few days:

This one is under the fence. I didn't really work, but at least it gives an idea what works are going on inside.

Quote from: "Anthony"Opening now apparently set for July.

It is a huge building and a very difficult site to build on, sitting literally right on top of the railway lines and isolated from other backstage areas. Makes a huge different to the heart of the resort though, filling in that missing gap between the parks and village/hotels. You notice it as soon as you step out into Fantasia Gardens, and your eye is constantly drawn towards it right up until you arrive at its doors. Very clever.

I was hoping it was going to be open for our June visit, but I guess not!
Ah well, any excuse for another trip next year.  :D
Easter 2000 - Cheyenne
November 2004 - Santa Fe
22nd May 2011 - Santa Fe

6th-10th June 2012 - Seqouia Lodge
Christmas 2016 - Santa Fe
Christmas 2017 - In the planning stages!

Whilst the building looks fantastic. Im hoping the finish on the dome isn't the final one.

It looks kind of plastic, I was hoping for more of a stained glass effect. Personally I feel it currently cheapens the overall effect which is a shame.

The shop will be bigger than the Emporium?

Although the dome is not yet finished, it gives you a good picture how it will look like when it's done and in it's current form, the dome looks a bit cheap. I also hoped for a stained glass effect, but maybe they use that plastic look, because they want to illuminate the dome.

New pictures from @InsideDLParis:

World of Disney Store update.

First exterior lights have been turned on.

The light goes surprisingly well together with the Disney Village neon.

Works don't only continue on the outside, but also on the inside.

Inside the store a wall, of stars with images of Disney Characters like Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo, was lit up tonight.

Q, do you mean the other half of the globe on the inside that is seen in the concept art? I guess they have to finish the outside first, there are still some world parts missing.

From what I can see right now, the inside looks nice.

Hopefully it will still come, it will make the constellation decorations make sense too.

They're clearly installing a chandelier. So no, I wouldn't count on that other half of the globe.

ah, quite. why did I not see that?
hoh hum, I liked the 'whole globe' concept.

that's what i've tought at first, cause of the hangin thing and the flat roof. but actually, looking better at that thing, it could be actually the structure/mechanism of the lower half of the globe.

I'm not sure whether this has been posted yet or not, but there's a piece of artwork in the new DLP book of the WOD store. It looks pretty awesome, with Mickey & Minnie topiaries at either side of the main entrance.
