I totally agree with you. This would be the perfect opportunity to fix what is broken.
Also, I would like to see them move the Flying Carpets from the studios to Adventureland.

Yes! I know it sounds slightly stupid, but Flying Carpets annoys me so much! They literally have an Agrabah area in Adventureland! Just get rid of the Genie directing, move it over there and it's in its right place :P

I'm not sure I can think of a place it can go without ruining the landscaping. Certainly not near the existing bazaar.

Soarin over Europe would be a great replacement for ST.
I think anywhere with new lands dedicated to its franchise should not have more attractions outside of its land.

Well, it was originally intended for Adventureland. Somewhere between Hakuna Matata and the Bazaar. (my guess is the place of the waterfeature next to the HM terrace). But due to the poor range of ride offerings in the Studio's they made a last minute decision to move it over there.. That's why it's such an odd attraction. It feels totally misplaced.

^Good call on the Tapis Volents. They should take the opportunity to relocate them into Adventureland. The could even put them under a canpoy (similar to the Sultan's Carousel in TDS) just to make it a bit more thematic.

Soarin' would be a great addition to Discoveryland - maybe replacing the HISTA building.

And if not Journey, what about the other Mysterious Island attraction; 20k Leagues Under the Sea?

None of those options would be cheap, but they'd refresh Discoveryland a little bit.

On Sunday evening my husband had a ride on Star Tours in English with the Pod Racing and Gungan City scenes. When allocated to a bay the CM asked if he was English and sent him to a bay saying "Special Test"

This is the first time in months that he's seen anything other than Force Awakens and Last Jedi usually in French.

Anyone know anything about this? Are they reintroducing the older scenes? Are they trying to separate out English speaking people to go to an English version?

Cheers ;D

They should go ahead with Discovery Mountain like they originally planned and go for a full on steampunk area.
Much like Mysterious Island and Port Discovery in Tokyo DisneySea, that'll be amaaaaaaaazing!
