QuoteVariety reports that the deal between Disney and Fox will be announced on Thursday. 21st Century Fox will retain Fox News, the Fox broadcast network, and Fox Sports 1 while Disney will acquire Fox's movie and TV studios. The deal is expected to cost Disney $60 billion.

So can we get the Fox fanfare at the start of future Star Wars movies? Its just not the same without them.

Hopefully they can use X-Men in the MCU but still allow some R rated movies to be released i.e. Deadpool, Logan

I don't think the fanfare will return. They want the Disney name to be associated with Star Wars more. However, they can re-release DVDs et al in thier original state, without removing the fanfare.

Depending on the deal, I'd imagine they will try and have Fox run as a separate entity - just like they have with their other aquisitions. ie. if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
