I really like Cinemagique, I will definitely miss it. I am making a quick surprise/last minute trip on the 16th and 17th of this month, hopefully it'll still be there so I can watch it one last time. I'm sad that Animagique is gone, but looking forward to watching Mickey & the Magician for the first time :)

Just to say, Mickey and the Magician is quite exceptional! When you've watch it you can almost feel ok about Animagique closing to make way for the new show!  :)

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to seeing it :)

Completely agree, Mickey and the Magician is superb. We went last year and my wife, 2 children (3 & 4) and I were enthralled from the first to the last minute.

Oh wow - it's good to see investment, but personally I'll miss Cinemagique and I'm not a big fan of Marvel. I don't want to see it taking over too much.
Luckily, we are visiting next week for 2 days, just before the 25th anniversary kicks off, so we will make sure we enjoy Cinemagique one last time!

If it's not there in August, I want a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Cinemagique is by  far one of the best things about the Walt Disney Studios park.

I'm  convinced Cinemagique is closing. This 'confirmation' seems to be based on a tweet that could mean anything:

Yes, 'It's 'It' s a wrap' is a phrase used to signify the completion of a film production but in this case it could easily mean that they are refurbishing it from March.

The new DLP help twitter replied to someone to confirm that it was closing at the end of March as stated and will reopen in 2018. There's been no official announcement on what will replace it but a reliable source was hinting at a Marvel based show.

We need to stop them before it's too late. Disneyland cannot lose Cinemagique.

Knowing Disney, It's probably already too late.

I'm starting a petition regardless. Cinemagique needs saving.

Slimy yet satisfying

I like Cinemagique but I think its time has come and gone.  It would be different if they had updated the films in the Titanic section but everything...including Martin Short is well past its sell by date! Most kids won't have a clue who he even is. It has to go I'm afraid. It is what happened to Honey I shrunk the Audience, The Cinemascope Jules Verne and many more. No petition is going to save it.

If petitions failed to save Mr. Toad, Country Bears, Horizons, The Adventurers Club, 8-Trax and The Hollywood Tower Hotel, then I'm afraid that CineMagique's closure is a fait accompli.

A noble gesuture nonetheless.

It's worth a try. It would be a shame for the park to lose something that's such an important part of its history.
