Very happy to report that we've changed our hotel from Explorers to Newport Bay for 21st December - 6 nights!!!  Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!   

First time to Disney Paris for all of us - I went to Florida about 25 years ago - when I was 20!!!!

We will be at DLP for 3 nights from 23 - 26 December as part of a 6 week European Adventure. We (me, DH, kids aged 16, 14, 12) have been to WDW and Disneyland Anaheim in 2010 and Hong Kong Disneyland in 2012. So this is our first trip to DLP but our 4th Disney Park (only Tokyo to go after this, until Shanghai opens of course  )

I've booked a 2 bed apartment at Residhome Val d'Europe but am still looking for other deals. Have not booked our park tickets yet and still need to book somewhere for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day breakfast. My youngest son is a very fussy eater and I'm loathe to pay big bucks for hm to sit at an expensive meal and not eat and complain the whole time!. So doing lots of research, but as we are visiting 9 countries in 6 weeks, I've got a lot of planning to do, so haven't dedicated a lot of time to our time at DLP. It's definitely the most exciting part for me though, I've always wanted to spend Christmas at Disney 

oh PS, we are from Australia which is why we're cramming so much into 6 weeks - this will be a once in a lifetime trip for us!

Thanks Ohana, it's very exciting! I bought our DLP tickets - 4 days for the price of 3 from the Disney Australian site. They were the same price as the French and Dutch sites but cheaper then the UK site, so worked out well. We've decided to stick with the Residhome as I can't find anything nearly as reasonably priced. It doesn't have the free shuttle but does have the train station outside. Also, it's only a 5 minute walk to Hotel Elysee Val d'Europe where the shuttle departs from so we can use it from there.

I'm getting the 6.25am flight from Newcastle (so might even make EMH) but I will needs to be at the airport by 4.00am... Sundays going to be a long day.

You have to queue and wait your turn in afraid. And it's a usually very long queue so get there as early as you can.

Discovery_Mountain, you both will be first at the hotel. We fly early morning on 29.11. and will arrive in SQL at appr. 11.40. It's soooo near!
