Can anyone tell us the breakfast times for the Cheyenne?

We are staying for 4 nights from Sunday 14th and want to take advantage of EMH, but wonder if we'll miss breakfast if we do this. Do we have to choose between breakfast and EMH?

If we're staying at the Cheyenne, is there an option to have breakfast in the park?

thanks all

Breakfast runs from approx 0700 til 1000 ish. They used to serve breakfast in the park,. but I have not seen it for a few years. The hotel reception would be the best place to ask

Another option is to bring a couple of snacks. Eat those and then go to the park voor EMH en then return around 9.30 to have a real breakfast in the hotel.

When you first arrive at your hotel and pick up your stuff from reception, you'll be asked what time you want your breakfast vouchers for. I think the options are 7-8am, 8-9, 9-10.

Best thing to do (if you can get up early enough) is to arrive dead on 7am for breakfast (by 7:30 there's usually big queues at the Cheyenne & Santa Fe), eat forjust over half an hour then make your way to the parks for just before 8am right as they open... That way you get 2 hours EMH (most days) and plenty of time for breakfast, without being stuck in queues.  8)

That sounds the best option. Thanks everyone for their help.

Asked the same question at Santa Fé. They still do it. But not in the period we we're visiting. 2 weeks before they had the option. Apparently it's not the hotels who decide but the park. Thats what the CM told me.

Wife was there a few weeks ago; timed tickets are given out for half-hourly slots between 0700-1030. The buffet was very crowded. You do not strictly have to use your ticketed time but if you are outside the time you may have to wait.

Just back - no queue at 7am. At 8.30am queue was out of restaurant all the way to the shop..... but it did move.

Also just back.

When we checked in we asked if it was possible to give us breakfast in the park. We were given a voucher for our first morning for Plaza Gardens. The food was the same as at the Cheyenne, but it was much more convenient.

Other mornings we ate a the Cheyenne at around 7am. By around 7.30 - 8.00 it was getting very busy, although the food was constantly restocked.

Wow can't believe you managed to get breakfast in the park when I asked I was told they'd stopped doing it,  glad to know it is in fact still going!
