We are going for 5 days in August, and obviously will be walking A LOT.

I was looking for some decent but thin summer socks for us all to wear.  Possibly the type that joggers / hikers may wear to avoid blisters etc.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Thanks in advance x

Try 1000 mile socks. They are a sock within a a sock so your feet dont rub in the shoe. I think they come in different thicknesses.

No idea about socks, but I love Compeed blister plasters so much I felt they were worth a plug too!

I would recommend a good pair of DLRP socks fresh from The Emporium, first thing I buy every visit.  ;D
Or the 1000 mile socks are excellent, I also take a couple of pairs of those.

I alwasy wear jogging-socks, warmer ones in winter, thinner ones during summer. Just visit a sport shop or take a look at amazon.
